Interst, mortgage and inflation is a great start. Pass lowering taxes and get the pay scales and a abundance of jobs Americans won't care about the tariffs......if the impatient bastards can understand it won't be done overnight. Plant a garden the vegetables aren't ripe in the morning but we expect a fresh salad at the speed of Google.
If nothing else bothered me about the unfair trade practices this should scare every American. Our needs must be produced here , especially anything to do with our military. We can't rely on any other country for medical or military.
Tell them to get to the end of the line. We can get to them by the end of JD Vance's second term.

50 countries or 100....... at the same time you have trade continuing or increasing....exports increasing means more jobs here at home.
So basically, the UK trade deal shows that yes, you can get revenue from tariffs AND also jobs. For big important industries that we need for national security, the tariffs will be more, which means onshoring of industries. Add in tax cuts, deregulation and cheap energy....and you have the golden age.....
