If Joe B refuses to pull out of the Presidential race then how can the Dems NOT select him as their candidate. Aren't the convention delegates bound to cast their vote to him at the convention? Are they allowed to vote for another candidate if the electorate, during the primary, voted for them on the premise they would vote for Biden?

They have up until sometime over the next two weeks to make their pledges permanent. They could take a vote before their convention to voice "no preference" or "no commitment" to any one candidate, but if they decide at their upcoming pre-convention meeting to stick with him, then his nomination is a done deal. Right now, it's not...thus all the speculation/caterwauling to remove him off the ticket before the delegates have to make their pledges permanent. We could see an open or contested Democrat convention, and the infighting between the establishment and insurgents would be too rich!

The delegates can revolt and vote for whomever they want. Go look and see how Truman became VP for Roosevelt.

It would be the irony of ironies though for the Dems who’ve been taunting preserving Democracy to completely shit all over it to replace him because it looks like they’re going to lose and in panic mode.

Last night, when Joe Biden was asked about stepping aside for his VP Kamala (not Trump), he responded by saying, "It's hard to start from zero."

This statement totally flew under the radar.

As we all know, if Joe steps down, he does have the ability to transfer his war chest to Kamala Harris.

Joe, in a very direct way, stated that if they were to remove him for Kamala, he has zero intention of giving the $200 million on hand to help her....

and THIS is the reason that many in the media and Democrat leadership positions pivoted and celebrated his abysmal press conference as if it were a win.

They know they're now stuck with Biden, and he's not playing ball.

They will have to impeach him to get rid of him at this point. They will have to convince the Republicans to help them. However there's plenty to work with when it comes to selling his influence to several countries. They can start with Russia, China, and Ukraine.
