...but I will add that I'm pretty sure that DH is involved with any player getting an offer... ...and certainly ALL the qb's. So using your reasoning they were right about Howard...but WRONG about all the rest.

Well, I see you've chosen the Gorilla...... you must enjoy those Rob Lowe commercials about which one of "me" you can choose.
You attempting to use 'logic', whether it be your own version or an attempt on your part to emulate someone else's, has been shown by your postings to be an exercise in futility. As you've shown, yet again with your latest version shown here, you have the knowledge of what the definition of the term "logic' is, but have also shown your failure in your understanding and attempted application of the term.
I suggest that sometime you look-up the terms 'choice', 'selection' and 'availability' and do your best, either with your version of logic or someone else's, to come-up with what happens when one attempts to equate values that are not equal.
You can try the old A = B and B = C, therefore C = A approach and see what you come-up with.
Maybe you'll decide, that casual observation, most often is not the best way to draw correct conclusions.

But his only D-1 offer was from us there is no way he will be good enough to start and win games for WVU because he only had 1 D-1 offer.

Crest had 2 long TD passes yesterday and narrowed the coach speak gap. Both QBs were inconsistent at times but Crest actually outplayed him slightly. Howard knows offense better at this point but Crest will catch up. It's early and both QBs are still developing. Crest engineered more TDs and its a matter of getting more reps and practices. Its coming along nicely.

"narrowed the coach speak gap"....... this gap is defined as the hollow space between some people's ears, as demonstrated in the example above.
By attitude of the board you really only mean 1 or 2 guys.
No one really knew what we had with Howard until he played. I like the kid. He's making better decisions and has definitely separated himself from the pack. My concern is finding weapons to replace White. But I felt the same way when Tavon left and White emerged. I wonder who the next star will be.

I like Howard but to act like Crest won't play is really dumb. Crest will develop a lot and end up starting this fall. Howard is solid but Crest has higher talent. I like both. Mark my word Crest will start by game 4-5. This is going to be a 2 QB team.
I don't think Crest is going to be the QB people were hoping he would be. I think Howard will hold this position. The defense is going to be better but there are so many huge games on the road. Hopefully the running game can make up for the lack of playmaking wrs. Right now I still stand at 6-6 or 7-5.
