Hey @Gunny46 ...serious question about Iran. What's the likelihood in your opinion of either us or Israel (or perhaps even a joint venture) launching a pre-emptive strike on Iran's nuclear enrichment facilities? Do you see Trump being able to successfully negotiate with them to abandon their nuclear program (re linked article), or are they too far along now to give it up thus forcing either us or Israel to take it down?

He could use Russia to negotiate with them being they have a better relationship. But that would require Democrats and the EU to stop trying to start WW3 with them. Let's hope they get the message with a few of their proxies getting their ass handed to them over the next few days. Trump wants peace. This is part of the Negotiations.
I tend to agree with this, except the fanatical adherence to their Faith demands they NEVER give up trying to erase Israel from the face of the Earth! I don't see Russia too willing to help us get them to give up their Nukes, especially since we're squeezing them in Europe and with Nato. Then there's always the Chinese and/or North Koreans who might be willing to offer them help on their Nukes, again...just to get back at us.
I can more easily see Russia perhaps negotiating with Iran to supply their Nukes, possibly to try & gain leverage against us, however I can also envision long time anti-Islamic forces inside Iran being more empowered now to move against the regime in an effort to try & save their country from annihilation.
As Trump said, there are going to be some interesting days ahead in the near future when it comes to Iran.
I've said numerous times I think the Cartels are our biggest threat. Alligator closes to the boat killing our citizens. I hope Trump can get the peace we all need right now around the Globe. However the world is pretty screwed up. Every country is finically hurting and in debt. So if WW3 started next week it wouldn't surprise me.
Unfortunately sometimes you have to negotiate with shitheads but we need to do it from a place of strength. I always get a good laugh when people say we don't negotiate with terrorist. That's nonsense. Not only do we negotiate with them we have funded and trained them in the past.
The truth is nobody really knows what will happen. Hopefully he can pull it off. Nobody else has come close.
