The players went home after the bowl game. Holgorsen stayed in FL. There was no opportunity to meet with them. Not that he seems like a sentimental mushy coach who would meet with former anybody’s.
And comparisons to Rodriguez are not apples to apples. At no time has Holgorsen ever said, “this (WVU) is my dream job!”, “I’ll be here as long as they’ll have me!”, or “”I’m not going anywhere.” The guy is paying his buyout and has taken another job.
MOST IMPORTANT IN ALL OF THIS, WVU will have a football coach announcement by Friday I’d say. Bury the dead horse and move on.
