All of a sudden, I've started to get E-mail notifications when someone responds to one of my posts (or responds subsequently to my own response in another thread). Obviously, I've done something unintentionally to my Board settings to make this happen, but I can't immediately figure out what in the hell it was.

Can anyone help me to eliminate these notifications ??

Click on your name at top right. On the left>settings>preferences>options.

You know, I thought I did that once before.....and deselected the box which enables E-mail notifications under Options.....but I continued to get them. Maybe I mistakenly neglected to hit the Save Changes button, I made sure to do it this time.

Regardless, thanks AZ [thumb2]

It's really easy to change your settings now and that's both good and bad. At times it will cause you to change how the board operates and you want it back to the original format. Over time I think we'll all get used to the different settings but anytime you have questions just let us know.

V, does this kind of change take some time to go into effect ??

I ask because I made the listed change in advance of posting my response to AZ.......but I then received the E-mail notification of your response, well, 3 minutes after my referenced response (though the Notifications box under my Preferences/Options definitely was deselected).

It can but some changes seem to kick in immediately while others take some time.
