naked squat thrusts..though a key hole in a hotel..tell me this country isn't all screwed up..29 Massey coal miners die in 2010..did their families get anything near that?
Where were these lawyers when women by the hundreds were sneaking around trying to get pictures of me in my drawers?

The hotel employee revealed to a STALKER her reservation at the hotel AND room number. The STALKER was not prevented by hotel staff from altering the peep hole on her room door. This is HORRIBLE!!!!! Ever been stalked, ever known anyone that was? That hotel should pay big time, just like they are now. Good for Erin, she had to go through even more to get this award. I wasn't a fan.....I am now! She's a LOT tougher than you think!naked squat thrusts..though a key hole in a hotel..tell me this country isn't all screwed up..29 Massey coal miners die in 2010..did their families get anything near that?
I have six (6) ex-wifes and they all stalk ole Warez. Hail, come to think of it.........I have a mistress or two that stalk me! Can I sue these womanses? What portion will the lawyers and the government take of my settlement? Erin will only wind up with about $6M. Chicken feed!
I guess that's what happened to your pickle factory
Kool-Aid....................don't you say nuthin about that pickle factory! I don't need no stalkers hanging around the pickle plant.
A stalker was given her room number, allowed to get a room right next to her, and allowed to violate her privacy and expose her to the world forever. For all they knew he was going to kill her.
The award sends a message to those involved how serious this total violation was.
What's wrong with the world isn't that some justice was done, its that some don't see it and blame the victim.
you wouldn't have gotten an amount anywhere near 55 million if that happened to you..that's the point..the law isn't applied equally. The hotel employee revealed to a STALKER her reservation at the hotel AND room number. 3 million offered per family and the death benefits..5 times their salary..I think the civil penalty for being burned to death should be greater than that of being filmed naked..but that's just me.Erin Andrews deserves that settlement. As for the Massey miners, yeah, their families got screwed, but that pos Don Blankenship has been before more than one jury, both civil and criminal, and walked because a bunch of coal company ass kissing citizens let him. That arrogant pos should have been brought low a long time ago, but continues to be defended and worshiped by a bunch poor, powerless, duped yahoos. Anyone not in that category won't be offended, as for those who are, good, you should be. You're part of the reason my beloved home state, especially the extreme southern counties, is in the shape it's in.

Not all situations are equal. Each case is interpreted individually. Robots do not preside over cases, judges do and they have a brain and think for themselves. This was a civil lawsuit. Her stalker received jail time. If you were a victim of the same crime, I'm certain the defendant would also receive jail time. She was targeted for this crime mostly because of her status.
Frankly, if anyone took a video of you doing your hair, naked in a hotel room, prancing around, I don't think too many folks are going to watch and it certainly wouldn't be a major news item. However, if that does happen to you and you later find out the hotel was culpable, you have the same right to sue that Erin Andrews did.
I'm happy for Erin Andrews. By all accounts she has never been emotionally the same since that video broke on the internet.
Trying to compare this to the mine tragedy (and as a West Virginian I'm sure you are well aware that many many deaths have been caused by the mines over the years, and no compensation was awarded at all) is low class.you wouldn't have gotten an amount anywhere near 55 million if that happened to you..that's the point..the law isn't applied equally.
I'm sure it will be appealed and the amount reduced..again she is alive and will survive, she can unfk herself with therapy.. yet these coal miners are all dead..in fact murdered..
She dressed like a nun in court, dresses like a hooker on DWTS. The jury bought the schtick.
I don't want to be the one to say it, but that is an apples and oranges comparison. Nobody gets justice against coal in WV. Good for Erin getting a win for privacy.naked squat thrusts..though a key hole in a hotel..tell me this country isn't all screwed up..29 Massey coal miners die in 2010..did their families get anything near that?
I didn't belittle anyone..the award is excessive that's what I'm saying..what now?..hotels have to do background checks..Trying to compare this to the mine tragedy (and as a West Virginian I'm sure you are well aware that many many deaths have been caused by the mines over the years, and no compensation was awarded at all) is low class.
Don't belittle Erin Andrews for doing what she should have done. I bet it wasn't about the money for her as much as it was about delivering a blow to the hotel. This country has a lot of problems, the system making a stand for the stalked.....isn't one of them.
low class my WV ass..you are putting a former college cheerleaders invasion of privacy above the deaths of human beings with families..how?..every life counts the sameTrying to compare this to the mine tragedy (and as a West Virginian I'm sure you are well aware that many many deaths have been caused by the mines over the years, and no compensation was awarded at all) is low class.

well i must say you are a good businessman to be able to keep that factory after 6 divorces. Can you give me some tips of how to hide money from my ex's?

The need to make sure they protect their guests right to privacy, and provide legitimate protection for their guests as well. Erin will be naked on the Internet for the rest of her life because of this, and for the rest of her children lives. That isn't right at all. Not to mention......this was a STALKER.....a lot worse could have happened. Give the girl some credit. The award was NOT excessive in my opinion. If that stalker ever gains any financial gain from this act, he should have to turn it over to Erin. The award insures that, and insures the hotel chain will focus on proper training and increased protection (both good things). I said low class, because no one could argue that death (esp that tragic) at the hands of big industry is not much more horrible. To make the comparison automatically indicates that this award for Erin is wrong BECAUSE of what the miners families were awarded. No reason for the comparison.....unless you're just trying to rip her apart.I didn't belittle anyone..the award is excessive that's what I'm saying..what now?..hotels have to do background checks..
Uh, or they can just make sure to not give out guest information...not a tall task.I didn't belittle anyone..the award is excessive that's what I'm saying..what now?..hotels have to do background checks..
Erin's stalker should pay dearly for his crime. 25 years in the Folsom pen would be about right. The Marriott should fire the employees that acted so stupid in putting the idiot in a room beside Erin. But, the Marriott paying nearly $30 Million is insane. I assure you, the employees did not follow Marriott protocol. Who should pay? Heck, I don't know. Sad situation.
you can stress whatever you'd like, but how do stop an employee from violating policy?..people are hired, they let you see want you to see...the only thing you know about them is their education level and their criminal and in some cases their driving record...This is far from the first time something like this has happened...Teenage girls were filmed in a High School gym shower with a hidden camera..it's happened in clothing stores in dressing rooms..many, many cases...Andrews got an award for who she is..Sometimes, the wealthy only evaluate and react if something is said in the only language they know......money. Executives and the owner(s) of that hotel will pay attention now, and STRESS that keeping their guests safe is worth spending more money.
And with prison overcrowding, I bet the stalker does very little time. Erin and her family will be dealing with this for far longer. What if it was your daughter, gf, wife, sister, or friend? I bet $30m wouldn't be enough!
