No improvement under DH.

I think what the resident imbeciles can't quite figure out, it that the low number semesters are ALWAYS the spring semester when we don't actually play games.

LMD.......................the way I understand it..........................the resident imbeciles (Lil Moe Rons) just wanna WIN. They refuse to see the forest because the dadgum trees get in the way. In other words.................they don't want to figure nothing out. They just wanna WIN! Dadgummit!

Getting slapped by you? yeah right you lie so much that you don't even know what the truth is. You have been schooled so much that you have know credibility left. You always make pathetic statements with no proof to back it up. You should change your handle to politicianeer at least you would have an excuse for blatant lies
yes, schooled by me. Show me proof I've lied. You just can't accept facts. If anyone lies, it is you.

I think you need some book learning on TCU, or web learning. TCU has been a very consistent football program except for one span in the late 1960's to the early 1980's; the Dry Era. After that, like a lot of SWC teams it took cash to get back to prominence. That cash took a toll on TCU and SMU (death-penalty).

Tcu had no top 25 finishes from 1959 - 2000. They only went to 5 bowl games in that span. There are allot of teams that have managed to go to more than 5 bowl games in a 40 year span. Maybe if you took the time to look up the word consistent in the dictionary or read the link that you have referenced assuming you know how to read then maybe people wouldn't ignore you

You are a pathological liar. You have lied about the scholarships you have lied about K state talent level. I could go on and on. You wouldn't know the truth if it hit you in the face

provide the proof then. I was right about both topics.

I have already provided you proof and Vernon proved you wrong on the scholarships but here you go again trying to go around in circles covering up your lies. There are 2 strings on the punish-eer doll pull one you get an excuse pull the other you get a lie. You should just hope that Dana leaves the next coach with a division 1 Qb but i know its been 5 years its all Stewarts fault

well if you followed college football before 1996, you would realize TCU was a power at one time as a member of the old SWC. They have won 2 national titles, and they have a Heisman Trophy winner. So I wouldn't say "they sucked for so long". The problem was, they became a midmajor non BCS school after the SWC breakup. Therefore your analysis is flawed. Despite those limitations, they held their own. My point is, now back with the P5 schools in the big 12, they will once again become a power. If not already.

The reason Baylor is now pretty good is a number of reasons besides excellent coaching with Art Briles. First of all, they are now putting a load of money into their program. Whereas they didn't in the past. Check out their new stadium and facilities.

okay, those are good points. But still think it unfair to say WVU is doing ok right now. Maybe our "learning curve" should be longer and fans more patient but I think if a coach is "good" and knows what he's doing, it shouldn't take this long to win a few more games than DH has. I think it's as simple as on the job training and it shows.

You do know that until ESPN decided bowl games were a great way to fill programming time and sell advertising that not every team went to a bowl game, don't you? Bowl games used to be something special, now any slapdick can go and go consistently. I think you must be about 12 not to understand this. Now go upstairs, Mom's got your breakfast ready.

Mr. Ignored Member. Yes, I called you Mister. With less than a dozen posts, you are wise beyond your yEERS. Go to the head of the class. Pass GO. Collect $200.

I know very well that there are more Bowl games today than there where in the past and i have been watching college football for probably longer than you have been alive. I also know that TCU didn't have one top 25 finish from 1959 to 2000 and in that 41 year stretch they had 31 losing seasons which doesn't exactly present much opportunity to go bowling does it? When you say TCU was consistent your are right they where consistent at doing nothing until Dennis F showed up in 1998 and Gary Patterson continued upon his success. So why don't you ask your mommy to enroll you in a class that teachs you how to do research before you make stupid posts with nothing to back it up

I said that TCU had been a better program than you had given them credit for EXCEPT a period from about 1960 to the 1980's; so we agree on this FACT. I also said that bowl games used to be a rare occurrence for teams than the most recent era; also a FACT. Perhaps remedial reading is in your future.

I was going to lay into you on this but for two things: it is Christmas and I wish you peace and happiness for the holiday season; and I was watching the Go Daddy Bowl last night as Georgia Southern, the team WVU beat 44-0 won their very first bowl game over Bowling Green, a team that had a pretty good year.

I thought to myself how you would view this and could almost imagine how you would tear into the GA Southern fan enjoying their team's victory by chastising them for having no history, only played in one bowl game ever, you're no good, etc, etc, etc. All the while not realizing the great program that GA Southern has had since re-instituting football in 1982 after a 40 year hiatus. And the Southern Conference Championships they had won (same ones won by WVU in the 50's and 60's) and the IAA National Championships they had won before stepping up to the Sun Belt last year (and winning that conference championship, but not being bowl eligible in their first year).

And as I thought about this a great Peace came upon me and I thought to myself, "fear not, as he knows not what he talks about." So with that I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Peace Out!!!

TCU was an inconsistent program from 1960 to 2000 not 1960 to 1980. so we don't agree on that fact In that time span 75% of their seasons where losing seasons not gonna make a bowl game at that clip so maybe if you took the time to read the links you reference than you would understand this. I guess you failed remedial reading and you obviously don't know how to do math either

So why doesn't every team just hire Gary Patterson? Problem solved.

It just shows you what a good coach can do. He came from the Mountain west and had already proven himself as a winner. TCU had the same record wvu did the 1st two seasons in the Big 12 but have risen to conference contender. That's what good coaching does but your mediocrity accepting mindset will do nothing but make excuse for DH. Go back to the Marshall Board

And you smoke some more of that Colorado weed you horned frog. Gary Patterson isn't coming to WVU. Dream on.
