almost...especially when NFL caliber talent exits...hate to break up this fantasy with some reality, but all of this hardedge propaganda isn't real....been through this before..
Propaganda huh? Well, pardon me while I believe the former WVU players who played under Rich over you, not too mention the WVU record under Rich. And basically my own eyes. I've not seen a WVU team as disciplined as his teams since he left. No one else has either, except RR haters of course.
I think what we are seeing isn't about "NIL money". It's about Rich Rod's team introduction when he talked about what it was going to be like compared to what it was like. If the reports are true, there is no shortage of NIL money. So these players leaving (Clement, Donaldson, Williams, Ray, etc.) would have gotten their money. I think it's more of "oh sh!t, you mean we have to practice now? We have to show up to lift? We are expected to show something before getting on the field"?????
Rod did say he would love to keep good players that wanted to stay. But he also said you wanting to leave I ain't begging you to stay.

I don't hate him..just know what he is....his Hardege talk is just that..all talk..in year 5 at Arizona his team lost 69-7 to Washington St..does that sound like a tough team?
The Product is thrilled..gets almost 4 million per yr for the next 5 years guaranteed...WVU is once again over a barrel not with a younger coach trying to prove his worth but with a man WVU had to fight in court to get the 4 million he owed.
All I got to say is. Go be a Marshall fan. Tickets are cheaper and coaches are ex WVU players.
