If Joe would win the White House...

'm not a Leftist by any means. I'm a Moderate, have voted Republican for candidates in the past, and don't care whether you believe me, or not.

There are no "moderates" in today's Democrat party. Bernie is the base voter's choice. Biden is the establishment's ventriloquist type "dummy" to hold onto their power so they can redistribute incomes instead of anti-free enterprise radical Communists like Sanders.

They ALL hate free markets, the second amendment, restricting illegal alien's unlimited entry into the country, a balanced budget amendment, a Human Life amendment, ending "death taxes", patient choice in health care, Parental choice in education through vouchers, energy independence through increased drilling and coal mining, lower personal and corporate income taxes, as well as greater Religious liberties.

There is no "moderate" choice or candidate on the ballot this year for you to vote for. You'll either vote for the radical Socialists now running in the Democrat party who oppose ALL of that, or vote for Trump who supports ALL of that, or stay home (which will be a great vote for those of us who support ALL of that)

I pay attention to plenty of legitimate news sources. The Blue Lot is a fine place to discuss issues, but it’s not a legitimate source of political info.
No, but it’s a good place to have a bit of discourse and understand alternate views. It’s fun to watch new liberals show up here every now and then with the same Deplorables view of the Right Wing element of the board and then get a lesson on their own biases.

Socialists have a "God". It's Leviathan. Their Religion is secular humanism and the sacraments are abortion and homosexuality.

Dr. King was a Baptist minister. Married. Believed in Christ as his personal Savior and didn't support infanticide. He also chased tail, cursed, and disobeyed the law which at the time was discrimination against the color of his skin.

That didn't make him a Socialist, it made him human.

But he was a socialist.....

But he was a socialist.....

Who do Socialists owe their salvation from Sin to MWV? Dr. King owed his to Christ. If you think that made him a Socialist before a Christian saved by the blood of the risen Lord, that's your problem, not his. He's with Christ now, not Socialists.

I don't take my political info from a car salesman. You have no idea what you're talking about. You're not interested in discussion. Your only interest it to push an agenda.

I do oppose those things and so do Biden and Bloomberg.
Well sorta based om their debates. Didnt Biden pay lip service to the green new deal?

Arrogance and Leftists seem to meet up on this forum.

Biden supports ending all domestic drilling and returning to the Paris climate change agenda. He also favors eliminating all uses of fossil fuels in exchange for "alternative energy". He just doesn't specify when or how we do this?

“I imagine you already know that I am much more socialistic in my economic theory than capitalistic… [Capitalism] started out with a noble and high motive… but like most human systems it fell victim to the very thing it was revolting against. So today capitalism has out-lived its usefulness.”
Letter to Coretta Scott, July 18, 1952.
“In a sense, you could say we’re involved in the class struggle.”Quote to New York Times reporter, José Igelsias, 1968
“Call it democracy, or call it democratic socialism, but there must be a better distribution of wealth within this country for all God’s children.”
Speech to the Negro American Labor Council, 1961.
“The evils of capitalism are as real as the evils of militarism and evils of racism."
Speech to SCLC Board, March 30, 1967.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's legacy
https://www.equip.org/article/martin-luther-king-jr-s-legacy/

excerpt:
Much like the man he was named for, Martin Luther King, Jr., was a reformer and a revolutionary. A minister and civil rights leader whose legacy will reverberate through history long after we’re gone, King’s philosophy and theology were influenced by the black church’s “social gospel,” which sought to alleviate societal problems based on Christian ethics, white Protestant liberalism, and the philosophy of men such as Mahatma Gandhi. King undergirded the civil rights movement, at least in the beginning, with Christian principles of forgiveness, faith, love, and brotherhood. He resented racial segregation and the disrespectful treatment that resulted from it, but he tried to counter the treatment with hope for racial equality.

*editor's note (you won't find much about Dr. King's legacy here based on his devotion to Socialism)

Ok....so you are calling King's own words "lying"? Hmmm..........interesting approach.

Ignorance. The true liberal staple.

He is the personification of it. Him arguing Dr. Martin Luther King is best known as a Socialist would be like arguing Chinese Communist Chairman Mao being best known as a free market entrepreneur. [eyeroll]

Ok....so you are calling King's own words "lying"? Hmmm..........interesting approach.

No Dr. King knows what he believed and lived it. You're the liar. You can't even admit you're employed full time, and you still probably don't do anything if you are! [smoke]

Nope. Never said that he was "best known". But he did believe in socialism. HE said it, not me.

I'm not calling Dr. King a "liar" you idiot...I'm saying he's known around the world as a warrior for social justice who fought for it based on Christian principles not Socialism. I noticed how you avoided my direct question to you asking you who Socialist's owe their "salvation" to? You at least can admit Dr. King did not owe his salvation to Socialists? Do you know who he owed that to?

Go ahead lie. Or better yet, don't answer because then it would expose you as the pathological liar you know YOU are.

Answer? Will you admit that Dr. King believed in socialism? And that he believed it would fix some of the social problems? I doubt you will..............even though his own quotes prove it.

Oh, look it up.....Christian Socialism......you'd be shocked!

Nope. Never said that he was "best known". But he did believe in socialism. HE said it, not me.

YOU also claimed you were semi-retired, with a "part time" job that frequently requires out-of-town travel...where you have enough time to personally check up on Negroes you don't even know and can't find!

YOU said that, not me. [eyeroll]

I believe Dr. King not YOU.
iu

We're working on it Dr. King, but Socialism won't get us there....Socialists have no character. They just lie and kill if you disagree with them.

Why don't you just go full J. Edgar Hoover and call MLK a communist?

Why won't you answer my question? Who do Socialists owe their salvation to?

His name is Jesus Christ...look HIM up, you'd be shocked!
(might be the first time you've ever read anything about him)

It hurts you, the truth about your hero.....but he's a great, wise man that broadened his beliefs to embrace socialism the way he did.

look it up.....Christian Socialism

How many Socialists do you know argue for and support belief in the shed Blood of Christ for the remission of Sin? Honor the sanctity of Human life? Believe Marriage is between one man one woman? That we are Created? Plus think Homosexuality is a Sin against Almighty God?

When you find some Socialists who believe in and follow all of that, join them.

Your pathology is rising to uncontrollable levels. Stop it, you might burst into a full fledged liar. Oh...wait.....
