I'd take backing in, but it was there for the taking if WVU would have just not botched 1 game among the KU and OSU home games or the ISU road game. Now even winning out requires more than one other thing to happen. Just by the by, why is pipe dreams like this or posts about WVU getting screwed at Kansas (which we were) just good natured homering for your alma mater but an OSU alum does the same thing and you attack?

If the Big12 was really any good over the years you wouldn’t have to ask that question. When a team wins a Conference 13 times in a row that tells most unbiased people that Conference is a one trick pony that sucks. In this case the Big12 is a one trick pony that underperforms in the NCAAs. But hey March is a new chance to overcome that reality.

This league just doesn’t have any other top notch programs ourselves included. Just a bunch of 2nd tier tournament entrants, the only real crap program historically is TCU which is where the strength of the conference is as the basement is better than the rest of the P6 by a mile year in and year out.
