and blue angel this morning. My mom passed away earlier this morning. She had fought and defeated two different cancers, a stroke, had an aortic aneurysm burst and survived surgery and had another one about 7cm big on the descending aorta that she’d lived with for the last several years. She had also been on oxygen for several years as her phrenic nerve was severed during a surgery and her diaphragm didn’t work. She was a tough, born and bred WV girl from Mannington that raised 4 boys and a girl along with her coal miner husband. My mom, Brenda June Messenger, was as gold and blue as they came! She loved the Mountaineers with a passion and watched every game. She was the best mom anyone could ever hope for and this mommas boy is heartbroken and will never be the same. God bless ya mom, you’re love will forever be with me and not a day will go by I won’t miss and think of you. Till we meet again.
