The Republican response was one on division and culture wars. Biden's was about coming together and working together. I am so shocked that Sanders did not bring up the Dems are coming for our guns. The Republican message is one of division and dehumanizing the other side. But I am sure it got a lot of donations. Look Joe Biden has already extended the olive branch. He has worked with Mitch McConnell and is trying with McCarthy but until there is someone wanting to work together we will have what we have. Division and culture wars.

So, kind of like Democrats did with Trump, kind of like Republicans did with Obama, kind of like Democrats did with Bush. See a pattern here, shit can?

Here we go again, ya'll always want to work together, but you have no idea what that means.

Compromise is not getting half of what you want. Compromise is you getting some of what you want, and me getting some of what I want. Until you idiot leftist learn this, there will always be division.

tl;dr, shorter summary:

GFY

As long as Republicans want big government and more spending Biden will compromise.
Tell me why teacher's or our government run education system needs more money? They are now and have been failing for decades and spend more per student than most civilized nations. If the education system was a business it would have went bankrupt. The best line I took out of the speech was any country that out educates us will beat us .... I agree 100% .
I think Biden made some very good populist points that I agree with. Sarah made some very good points about its time for a younger generation and how we ARE divided on cultural issues and how Biden has let the woke mob control his administration.

Can you explain how our education system is "failing"?

1. We educate EVERYONE......some nations do not.
2. We offer a FREE education system to EVERYONE......some nations do not
3. Our education system has students who are more diverse than anyone else.........

I did a quick Internet search and found that the US ranks at the top in public education. I say the reason the misinformation of "our schools are failing" is because the ridiculous standardized tests that our educational leaders have whored themselves out is the reason. We still produce a quality education and produce a quality product when students graduate.

Furthermore, if someone else on the Left were to say "the United States healthcare is failing", and there is proof to that, then you guys would have an opposite viewpoint and would oppose any actions to help lower the cost of healthcare.

A quick Google and I found a pew research center grades 1 -12 out of 71 countries we ranked 38th in math and 24 in science that sound pretty good?
I'm very glad every child has a equal opportunity to get a education and have zero problems with paying taxes for it . I have zero problems with teachers making more money . I can't copy and paste the article, but we are behind countries like Portugal, really?
Like it or not our education system has become way to cultural and less about what matters.
I truly believe school vouchers would help fix the problem if for no other reasons than smaller class size .

This is the same nonsense you guys always try to push. If you all truly believe that, then you all don’t understand what the right considers unifying and working together. We don’t agree on the solutions proposed by the left and the emphasis the left places on those issues, so trying to get us together with you on those issues, that’s not unifying. It’s divisive. You’re pushing things that against our core philosophies, and asking for our help on those issues isn’t unifying. More gaslighting from the left.

I work with a teacher from the Philippines, and she is amazed that we offer an education to all students. I also work with a teacher from East Africa who says the same thing. They both say the opportunities here are unreal. So is our educational system failing or are kids and parents not taking advantage of it???? And how will vouchers create smaller class sizes????? If you got 10,000 kids no matter how you move them you still got 10,000 kids. Unless you are willing to build double the school buildings to create smaller classes

Well I can see that reasoning is not your strength. Watch the republican response last night it was about division that is not gaslighting its fact. And McCarthy has left the far right run his party. He gave away the candy store for a few a$$holes

Again, another quick Internet search revealed that the US recently "slipped" to third place in "performance of secondary school students on international science and math competitions."

My point is, that when we put our BEST against other nations' BEST, we are among the best in the world. What brings us down is that we INCLUDE EVERYONE in our educational evaluations. It really isn't that hard to understand, is it?

Perhaps on top of his dementia, he is bipolar.

Well school vouchers goes to private schools so yeah that would mean more school houses and smaller classes.
Did you actually think that school vouchers would mean that kids/ parents would be still sending kids to public built schools?

Where is that $$$$$$ coming from to build these buildings??????? How will you fund building 10-20-30 more private schools for an area????? How will you staff that building?? How will you provide transportation to those buildings?? Will you provide breakfast and lunch?? Will you have afterschool activities????? Will there be a plan for special needs kids????

With all the money we spend per child in no way shape or form should we be ranked any lower than 2 at any given time .
I get the argument against piece of shit parents, I truly do .
We need to figure out away to separate those that want educated and those who is hindering our kids who want to learn . Many kids are distracted by the trouble kids and get led down a bad path . The best way to separate is school vouchers. The old saying you can by them books send them to school but you can't make them learn .... separate the ones who don't want to or can't.

It does not matter where you go if you take advantage you can get what you need to get an educatiuon.. I worked in one of the worst schools in Winston Salem and Raleigh and we still had kids go to Ivy league schools, West Point and Annapolis.

I understand what you are saying. The best against the best we are ranking high .... is our best going to public schools or private? I don't know.
I'm saying the money we spend on education we should have more of the best than any other country it's not that hard to understand.

I would put our worst against everyone elses worst and we are still better. In fact I bet we blow many countries away

Why not separate the bad apples?
Wouldn't you get more cream to rise to the top ? I truly believe we have a untouched highly intelligent group of kids in poorer hoods that don't get a fair chance to display themselves in our current public school system. I don't think it's more money I think it's a coddling problem. I believe some of those kids would prosper in smaller schools.

Have you ever been to the poorer hoods my guess is no. And you still did not answer how we fund this

Unfortunately I have. I sat in on some classes about 5 years back, my head coach and I, both white.

90% of the time was blaming the honky for every problem they have. Seriously. It's no wonder that blacks are racist against whites.
