The spending that allowed people to stay home and drop out of the work place….

Is that’s something a true conservative would have done?

I know …I know…you RINOS will rush to his defense, but the truth is: Trump has a. history of doing the opposite of what hIs supporters will claim he did.

It’s time to move away from Trump and his establishment politics and find a true conservative to lead the Republican party….

Trump KNOWS business...

Medical, not so much...

he didn't expect everyone around him to stab him in the back...

If he KNOWS business, then he should have anticipated the backstabbing and would have realized that all the spending he approved --to keep people home-- was bad for bidnes.

Only Neo-cons would support Trump's pandemic era actions.

Below is my opinion:

True “conservatives” are poison and unelectable. They’re the fringe right of the party. They’re good people, but their politics turn off 70% of the country. Their focus on social issues (abortion, gay marriage, etc.) is a major obstruction.

If you’re talking fiscal conservatives? I don’t know that I’ve seen one of those in a really really long time.

Bottom line, Trump tapped into a populist artery, and it’s in opposition to the mainstream. Modern populism is fairly commonsensical, it’s effectively socially central, maybe even socially left of center (the old center) and fiscally focused on maximizing earnings for everyone who chooses to be a part of it.

I’ve read your rants the last couple of days. You’re not very good at articulating your position. You’re doing the same thing the left does, you’re trying to shame people into your line of thinking by gaslighting people and trying to reshape reality to confuse the argument’s established reality. It’s well established that those of us on here who voted for Trump can easily articulate why by specific policy.

The COVID spending? 100% agree with you. Trump signed the deal, but both parties were for it, including the administration who came in next and approved more. To this day, there are unspent COVID dollars that should be returned to the taxpayer coffers, but the Pedo administration is wanting to spend it on the New Green Deal and other pet projects. To me, that's stealing from the taxpayers because that's not what the money was for.

Now, with that said...Let's talk policies.

What policies did the Trump administration put in place (or at least attempt to) that you were/are against? Keep in mind it was Trump or Pedo-Joe that was going to take the wheel of our country.

Trump was supposed to be a leader and from time to time that means going against the grain and doing what you feel is right. If Trump truly believed that the COVID spending was unnecessary, then he should have vetoed it Instead he went along with the establishment --on both sides-- approved the spending, and then complained about people staying home and schools being closed. He screwed that up..and that is reason enough to cause any non-RINO to question Trump's ability to lead this country in a bold new direction and undo all the damage the Biden admin has done.

I also believed that Trump was going to drain the swamp.... How'd that work out? How's Wray working out? Is the FBI doing the job of the people or of the elitists?

So you're right - let's talk policies...which one of the COVID related policies did Trump get right?

He was busy fighting non-stop lies from the left. An impeachment over a hoax made up by Democrats. I also answered your COVID question

So again, I'll ask: What policies did the Trump administration put in place (or at least attempt to) that you were/are against?

If you’re simplifying his Presidency down to COVID, that’s an artificial box you’re creating to support your narrative which excludes the bulk of his Presidency and policy.

You’re also blaming him for policy and procedures largely governed at the discretion of the individual states. He enabled backstops during COVID which aided Americans due to the state level decisions, similar to a FEMA plan for what was a Universal Emergency. Specifically for COVID, I thought the travel lockdowns initially were good, as was his handling of the border with Title 42. Warp Speed was effective in getting a “vaccine” to high risk communities and those who wanted it. His administration cleared red tape. He never mandated it. Individual states chose to extend lockdowns, that being outside of his control.

There was a lot he didn’t do correctly with COVID, but at least in the first 3 months, I thought he did well.

I thought the travel lockdowns initially were good

And several Democrats bashed him for it and voted to repeal it, calling it a "Muslim ban."

He couldn't win for losing, when it came to Democrats. Even to this day.

Everything he did or tried, Democrats fought against him tooth and nail. They didn't want him to get credit for anything, even at our country's expense.

By that, I mean he tried and was shut down by Democrats. What policies did the Trump administration put in place (or at least attempt to) that you were/are against?
Again, you don't get credit for failures.

Sessions

The majority opposition to the New Democrat Party is buying this never Trump bullshit some of you keep selling. The Republican Party gets behind defending Trump or never wins again.

Trump went along with Fauci and Birks with their "Two weeks to stop the spread" lockdowns.
After that, he pushed for ending lockdowns, and for therapeutics, for which he was met with total resistance by the medical establishment bureaucracy and unions. His instinct from the start was to get back to normal as quickly as possible while leftists reveled in keeping the population in fear and misery and the economy in a tailspin. Fortunately, he succeeded in his pursuit of common sense federalism which allowed states like Florida and South Dakota to recover quickly while leftist states lived under authoritarian rule.
Never forget that Trump's opposition loved the pandemic. It gave them an excuse to have control over freedom-loving Americans and allowed them to steal the election.

And again, you, like all people on the left, refuse to answer the question. It's a tough question for those that hate Trump. I could answer with ease if you asked it about Pedo-Joe.
Typical neo-con response.

So I'll ask again, how do you explain away his decisions to pick people like Barr and Sessions, his decisions to shut everything down for two weeks, and his decision to go on a massive spending spree that encouraged people to continue to stay home and to shutter our schools? Why didn't Trump do more --like withhold funding-- until schools reopened? Why did Trump allow Fauci to take center stage at to spread his crap?

I think we all know why.

Trump lost the last time around and his candidates didn't fair to well in the mid-terms. Why do you back a loser?

Can I blame him for:

Barr
Wray
Tillerson
Sessions
You certainly can. Though, Tillerson got us out of Paris and Sessions I don’t think can be blamed for him having to recuse himself. We can argue whether he needed to be recused, and I think that’d be fair.

Can I also blame him for

Priebus
Kelly
Yes, I’d you’d like. Though with Kelly, he was in office when a lot of the good part of the Presidency occurred as well. Priebus was a joke and didn’t last very long. Priebus is the epitome of a swamp dweller.

I don’t think you know why, because you’re blaming him for things he couldn’t do. The Democrat Congress held the purse. They gave the money. He could’ve veto’d but in an election year, they would have been able to override him.

Again, an easy argument could be made as to the items and personnel you’re listing as exact examples of why he wasn’t a RINO. The actual reason is because he didn’t know any better and didn’t understand how to navigate DC bureaucracy.

You continue to show your idiocy.

Trump didn't approve the funding. Congress did.

Trump tried to get workers back to work sooner.

You are rewriting history.

Until Republicans learn to ballot harvest and reach younger people they will continue to lose. Trump currently is the only Republican close in being able to win. But keep repeating silly Establishment talking points. It's humerus.

Idiots like 3:16 attack Trump. Why are they not simply supporting their guy?

The answer is simple.

Second guessing covid policies is such a bullshit argument anyway.

Had we known what we were dealing with at the time it would have been handled differently.

Had Trump known then what he knows now he would have handled it differently.

Easy for clowns to stand around now and say what would have worked then.

Okay you wine and cheese republicans....

Trump could have and should have vetoed the COVID spending bills and forced the Senate to override those vetoes....

This is true: Until Republicans learn to ballot harvest and reach younger people they will continue to lose

This is not true: Trump currently is the only Republican close in being able to win.

Trump lost to a guy that refused to leave his basement, doesn't know what day of the week it is, and struggles to walk across a stage. That's not very inspiring.

Someone is offering a revisionist history of Tillerson's time in office... Remember Tillerson called Trump a moron --was he correct in that--, he supported the Iran deal, oh and the Paris climate accords: Asked if there was a chance the United States could stay in the accord, Tillerson responded, “I think under the right conditions.”

Oh and Kelly: “It’s pointless to try to convince him of anything. He’s gone off the rails,” Kelly said of Trump, according to Woodward’s telling. “We’re in Crazytown. I don’t even know why any of us are here. This is the worst job I’ve ever had.”

To be fair, Trump did get a few things right: Keystone pipeline, drill baby drill, and moving our embassy to Jerusalem.

The travel ban was garbage. If a terrorist really wants to come into this country they can simply sneak across the borders and go undetected.
