Most of the Herdiots that keep using the plane crash for sympathy weren't even born yet when it happened. I was. I lived in Glenville and was watching a Huntington TV station when the first live reports of the plane crash began breaking into the regular programming. It was a super foggy night and our family stayed up late waiting on a long overdue cousin from Maryland to arrive. He was late because of the same fog that played a role in the plane crash. I'm also more well versed in Marshall history than most of the ones who claim to be their fans these days. I can tell you that there was no "we are Marshall" chant back in those times. It is a fabrication that the movie industry created and the Herd fan base picked up on and ran with. The movie was filled with other inaccuracies and fabrications, but the Herdiots accept it all as truth. We all cried the day of the plane crash, but we all moved on...........at least the ones of us who don't need to keep using it for sympathy.
