Bria Holmes, Mountaineers flex muscle, get past Princeton

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Bria Holmes scored 26 points as West Virginia overcame a sluggish start to beat Princeton 74-65 on Friday in an opening round game of the women's NCAA tournament.

Princeton, which got the Ivy League's first ever at-large bid in the tournament, couldn't stay with the bigger, stronger Mountaineers in the final period as West Virginia found its shooting touch and began to push around the scrappy Tigers in the paint.
