I would love to see a truly scientific paper (and they may already exist) that discussed the quality of methodology used to measure CO2 concentrations now and back in the mid 20tyh century. We always hear about how much chamnge there has been over the last century or so but no discussion includes the FACT that the methods for measuring CO2 concentration at these times of baseline/comparison values were quite crude and less accurate. Above all they were horribly imprecise by comparison to modern methods. SO, using our current state of technology and comparing the obtained values to those from a century ago is an example of an argument made by one strt=etching reality for political purposes and exposing their lack of knowledge of the subject matter.
