Al Gore admits that Paris would not have solved "the problem."

An Interesting discussion (I had to leave for work earlier and couldn't finish it 'till this morning)... no minds changed but lots of spirited debate for sure!

This topic essentially lends itself to what one chooses to actually believe, with ample evidence on both sides to support each belief (evolution vs creation)

Statisticians who chart such things have used numbers and statistical probabilities to refute evolutionists, pointing out the mathematical impossibility of varied species "self evolving" from one form into many different species.

Here is some eye opening information on that if your mind is not already made up.

...then on the other hand there is the 'non creationist' Scientific community which says it is easy to refute the stats and prove evolution is not only Scientific fact, but can indeed even explain origins!

So what is the Truth?

It essentially comes down to two simple questions:

If evolution is true and there is no Creator why has it stopped? No credible Scientist or researcher argues today we currently are still charting observable evolution...even from as recently as 1,000 years ago.

Why not?

If there is a Creator, why is there no new Creation? Again, we do not see new "species" appearing in biology, and apparently all that ostensibly was created is already here and nothing new has been added in the past few thousands of years.

Why not?

So, again what is the Truth here?

The weight of the evidence suggests a point in time of Creation, but the observable patterns also suggest evolution over longer periods of time for us to see what we currently do see today.

The answer is they are not mutually exclusive, nor non dependent on each other. Logically there had to be a starting point of all existing things....that is the creation however or whenever that all occurred.

Evolution is certainly observable after Creation because we can see things (species) changing over time and change is a constant observable dynamic in what we can observe that's been created.

So a belief in both does not obviate the other, rather it compliments or enhances understanding of what is.

That is what the Bible says simply when it explains:

That we are wonderfully and fearfully made, that nothing that is or was... happened without our Creator, and all things were made possible by the Author of all Life in the known Universe.

So Evolutionists can relax, your Faith in that is secure believing what Science has taught and indeed proven about it.

In addition, Creationists can take comfort that without a Creator designing the purposes and means of Evolution, noting we see today could have even happened.

All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing that was made could be made” (John 1:1-3)
