Zero chance that DeSantis could have pulled together the coalition that Trump has.
Zero chance that a "conservative" could stand up to the onslaught that Trump has.
Trump is trying his damnedest to disrupt The System which is something that I don't know if DeSantis has the moxie for. Either way, this wasn't his time, but he let himself be convinced that it was. Now, he's finished on the national stage, but I could see him being very successful in the Senate going forward.
