When does ten wins not get you in the Top 50?

Which are less of them than there were that voted for WVU

Again ... only because your coach got a vote this year. And, being a person of limited integrity, he voted his own team in even though they had done nothing to deserve it.

What accomplishment can you possibly point to that would justify a vote in the top 25?

They beat #104 Purdue!

Why do Marshall fans constantly get into these discussions with WVU fans?

Football: WVU 12 Marshall 0

Basketball: WVU 33 Marshall 11

Any questions?

How The Poll Works

The Amway Coaches Poll is conducted weekly throughout the regular season using a panel of head coaches at FBS schools. The panel is chosen by random draw, conference by conference plus independents, from a pool of coaches who have indicated to the American Football Coaches Association their willingness to participate. Each coach submits a Top 25 with a first-place vote worth 25 points, second place 24, and so on down to one point for 25th.

You are more stupid than I thought... Is reading comprehension one of your problem areas ?

Yeah, why did WVu only receive one vote and Marshall received 15 votes?

Burns your ass, doesn't it?

Still doesn't have anything to do with your theory that Doc voted us to be #15 in the top 25 and that he was the only coach who voted for us. You're quoting a point system which isn't divulged for teams other than those receiving points for first place. 15 votes doesn't say how many points.

God, you're not just dumb, you're WVu dumb.

damn... you are ignorant....

Who else on Gods green planet is going to vote for your shit school ?

I'll explain it one step at a time so you don't get a headache.

1. Each coach on the AMWAY list votes for the top-25 schools.
#1 = 25 points, #2 = 24 points, #3 = 23 points and so on...

2. Doc voted the moooo for 15th place which means the mooooo has 15 points.

3. and the moooo 'finished 32nd' because Doc voted the moooo at 15th on his voting card.

4. You are a f'n idiot.

Points, not votes. In the "others receiving votes" category, those are points listed and not votes.

But don't let me stand in the way of your celebration; if it makes you feel good about Marshall's season, knock yourself out.

There is a Marshall education at its finest. It happened multiple times, so don't say it was a typo. Even though you guys pronounce both of them as "thaaaayyyyyyuuuur", they are different words...

Someone who doesn't know the difference between there are they're calling other people fools is pretty hypocritical...

Not at all...Marshall plays on a much, much, much lower level than WVU does and the gap is only widening. Marshall's fluffed rankings based on playing fluffed, ant-ball schedules, mean little to nothing to the teams and fans in the power 5.

FCS to G5 is equal to G5 to P5. Soon enough, the G5 will be the modern day 1AA....

Well...CUS1AA is already there.

LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!

First of all, we are #32, not 15 and since when does one coach have 15 votes to use??!!

God, were you ****in' drunk when you posted this? Please tell me you were under the influence of some illicit drugs.

The only teams you know the actual ranking being voted on are for the first place teams. I suppose you're insinuating that someone actually voted for WVu to be #1 then since you received one vote?

You have proven your stupidity here, not that anyone needed proof.

When coaches submit votes, they submit a top 25 ballot. Doc ranked Marshall 15th. Nobody said Doc had 15 votes to use on Marshall. You genuinely are just not a smart person. You should ban yourself from this board out of shame for at least 6 months, but I suppose you are not smart enough to be cognizant of your shame either.

It's always funny when somebody completely doesn't understand what was posted and then accuses the other person of being ****ing drunk, and all of that.

Marshall fans ... the comedy writes itself.

Let that sink in for a bit. For three consecutive years we have received more VOTES than WVU. No matter how many ways you attempt to spin, deflect, denounce, etc, etc, etc you can't hide that fact. [thumbsup]

Listen 'tard. I didn't say Doc had 15 votes to use. You can keep saying it over and over, but it doesn't make it true. Doc did not vote for himself nor did he try to rank us at #15. The panel of Coaches are drawn at random, but they do not submit their ballots anonymously.
We have had weeks during the season in which we did not receive any votes. You think Doc just forgot to fill out his ballots then?

No, those are still points, not votes.

Let's do it this way ... maybe even a Marshall fan can understand this:

If the "others receiving votes" actually represents VOTES (Votes fool. More votes...) and not POINTS as you say ... then how in the world does Western Kentucky have 73 "votes" when only 64 coaches vote?

"The Amway Board of Coaches is made up of 64 head coaches at Bowl Subdivision schools. All are members of the American Football Coaches Association. The board for the 2015 season: Dino Babers, Bowling Green; David Bailiff, Rice; Frank Beamer, Virginia Tech; Craig Bohl, Wyoming; Terry Bowden, Akron; Art Briles, Baylor; Troy Calhoun, Air Force; Matt Campbell, Toledo; Rod Carey, Northern Illinois; Norm Chow, Hawaii; Paul Chryst, Wisconsin; Dave Clawson, Wake Forest; Larry Coker, Texas-San Antonio; David Cutcliffe, Duke; Mark Dantonio, Michigan State; Tim DeRuyter, Fresno State; Bob Diaco, Connecticut; Sonny Dykes, California; Shawn Elliott, South Carolina; Larry Fedora, North Carolina; Jimbo Fisher, Florida State; Kyle Flood, Rutgers; Dennis Franchione, Texas State; James Franklin, Penn State; Willie Fritz, Georgia Southern; Todd Graham, Arizona State; Mike Gundy, Oklahoma State; Jim Harbaugh, Michigan; Mark Helfrich, Oregon; Doc Holliday, Marshall; Mark Hudspeth, Louisiana-Lafayette; Paul Johnson, Georgia Tech; Joey Jones, South Alabama; Brian Kelly, Notre Dame; Brad Lambert, Charlotte; Lance Leipold, Buffalo; Rocky Long, San Diego State; Mike MacIntyre, Colorado; Gus Malzahn, Auburn; Doug Martin, New Mexico State; Dan McCarney, North Texas; Ruffin McNeill, East Carolina; Bronco Mendenhall, Brigham Young; Urban Meyer, Ohio State; Les Miles, LSU; Phillip Montgomery, Tulsa; Ken Niumatalolo, Navy; George O'Leary, Central Florida; Gary Patterson, TCU; Chris Petersen, Washington; Paul Petrino, Idaho; Gary Pinkel, Missouri; Paul Rhoads, Iowa State; Mike Riley, Nebraska; Nick Saban, Alabama; Frank Solich, Ohio; Rick Stockstill, Middle Tennessee State; Bob Stoops, Oklahoma; Kevin Sumlin, Texas AM; Dabo Swinney, Clemson; Tommy Tuberville, Cincinnati; Matt Wells, Utah State; Kyle Whittingham, Utah."

You are the ONLY one here that has even suggested that Doc had 15 votes ... or more correctly ... the only person that incorrectly interpreted another person to have made that assertion.

First of all, we are #32, not 15 and since when does one coach have 15 votes to use??!!

Nobody said that Doc had 15 votes, they said that Doc gave Marshall 15 POINTS with the one VOTE he has.

Yet, you accuse others of saying something over and over again that they never said even once, let alone repeated.

All while calling people stupid.

Now THAT takes a special kind of stupid.

Another example of someone being so ignorant as to be unable to understand a concept so they therefore assume the presenter is the dumb one.

It's no use. He doesn't have the mental capacity to understand. Not worth the effort to try and enlighten him.
