I got a chance to talk more with South Charleston (W. Va.) 2017 safety Derrek Pitts. He was excited about his offer from West Virginia today. He told me that every offer is an important one, he was happy to receive this one and it meant a lot. He said the coaching staff really made him feel loved and respected throughout the day. He really enjoyed his time in Morgantown as he toured the facilities and stadium while getting a chance to check out the new team room. Pitts says the new addition was great. The defensive standout is in no hurry to make a college decision and will likely take in Clemson and Virginia Techs spring game. I'm sure the Mountaineers will see more of Pitts in the coming months also.
