Over six months later, he finally seems to have turned the corner. Months of not knowing the cause, disagreements between doctors about the cause, gallbladder removal and pain is gone; then suspected appendicitis with doctors disagreeing again; ended up being inflamed lymph nodes near surgery site; weeks of recovery; then depression set in as he was so far behind in school and missed his entire junior year of basketball. Today is the first day that he has felt better and said that life looked brighter again. His school and teachers have been wonderful. We all have hope again but have aged tremendously. Thanks to everyone for their prayers.
