OT: Grandson update

He was so bad that after the gallbladder test, he was kept on IV to stabilize and then admitted. GI doctors and surgeon were in disagreement whether to remove or not but it was ultimately the surgeons decision. He did 3 more tests to rule out other possibilities. Because Evan was in so much pain after drinking the fatty gallbladder liquid for the test, he said it has to come out. Removed it on Friday, home on Saturday, and besides the surgery pain is doing great. He is finally keeping food down and no more nausea or vomiting. We have been warned he may have other issues and this was 50/50 to work but it went more in our favor after the fatty fluid pain. Final pathology report showed chronic cholecystitis. After losing over 30 lbs and a 3 month nightmare, it is wonderful to see him smile again. Thank you for all your prayers and support.
