Manchin and Saban

Its pretty easy to get the unemployment rate down when you push the work force to retire with vaccination mandates and allow millions of illegals to come in to take jobs. Care to quantify the "more jobs created" comment.....would love to hear it. If they have been, I would guess that 80% of them are government jobs to take more control or via the illegal market. Inflation and spending is out of control. Ask the treasury or OBM. Otherwise, that is just a bullshit statement. I'm going to guess you are going to use the numbers that there are more openings than people to fill them (i.e. the older ones said F off Brandon, I'm done). As far as the right wing nut jobs with the vaccination, you or anyone else answered my legitimate questions the other night. The whole things was done wrong. Trump got the vaccinations, Biden NEVER could have got it done. Also, Trump wouldn't have mandated a vaccine. Someone with some common sense is deemed uneducated, right wing nut jobs and yet most on the left are following a bungling, forgetful, lying, incapable guy that has NEVER worked a real job in his life. You are so caught up in the MSM supporting him, you turn your back to the truth. Trump was hated by many. He was arrogant, tweeted too much and was a too much for all those afraid to get their feelings hurt. I guess its OK to not like him as a person, but Biden doesn't even know he's president half the time. Get a grip.
Again...convincing yourself Biden is senile to justify your hate.

He is senile. My hate for what? If you are talking about hate for anyone who wants to make a republic a socialist, communist country, then yeah, count me in. You guys yell from the roof tops democracy is at risk. Your absolutely correct it is, by the people that are yelling it. I can debate this all day with facts while you throw around the hate, racist card.

Yeah. I get tired of people yelling democracy and then wanting to burn it down. Democracy, hate, racist are used as hot words for them when they don't have anything to say.

Do you think that Joe Biden is operating with all of his mental faculties in tact?
Yes.

This and your inability to believe that I am self employed is exactly what I'm talking about.

If something doesn't fit where you want it, you just pretend it fits where you want it anyway.

I'm self employed and a big fan of capitalism.

Can you accept that or are you so weak minded that you need to convince yourself otherwise?

I applaud you for having your own business and believing in capitalism. However, you are wrong about his faculties and the end game wanted by those in the middle left and far left. Hell, there is only a few moderate democrats left. Everyone else wants a socialism and proclaim it as a republic. We need less government intervention.

I am admittedly passionate about our country's future.

I see an enormous amount of misinformation and people that believe untrue things that are harming our country.

I doubt most on this board ever see viewpoints that don't simply justify their existing beliefs.

There is a very dangerous movement in this country that worships having power simply for the sake of having power. Not to protect our democracy or care for the greater good...they just want power. And they will use any means, including violence, to get and preserve that power. That's how democracies die.

Sorry if my passion offends you.

I don't recall stating that I don't believe you're self employed but if it helps your narrative to state as such...have a ball. I too, am self employed and I therefore appreciate your initiative. Of course self employment can mean a lot of things and not all of them are positive.

I disagree with you that Joe Biden has all of his mental faculties in tact. If you listen to a speech from 20 years ago to today the difference is obvious. He is fading and it's sad that the Democratic party could not put forward a better option. Even Bloomberg didn't last for more than a few weeks...remember that.

Still curious about your assertion that the wealthy don't pay their fair share in taxes. What would be a more fair solution?

There is plenty of room to talk about the role of government in our lives.

Those are the discussions we should be having. Not if the most closely watched election in our history was " rigged".

It wasn't.

It's this disconnect with reality that we need to fix.

Covid is not a massive conspiracy to get the former guy out of office.

Democrats are not Satan worshiping pedophiles.

Obama isn't from Kenya.

There was no WMD in Iraq.

Q is not a real person.

We need to get back to facts and get all these crazy conspiracy theories back out to the fringes of our society.

That's very hard to do when the leader of one of our 2 parties keeps lying for only his own selfish benefit.

We need to reign in all the crazy.

American democracy is a thousand times more in the hands of the populace than say it ever was in 1845... Or even before 1912 and the 17th Amendment. I am so sick of this Democracy is in danger narrative. The Framers founded a Republic... Not a true Democracy.... the fundamental parts of that system are more free today than they ever were. Black people can vote, poor non land owners can vote, Senators are elected by the people...

Do you like science or not? And are you really hating on a guy that hasn't held office for 30 years???

You know what...never mind my questions. You don't have enough of a handle on the topics to even know.
I believe in climate change absolutely. I believe climate has changed for millions of years and will continue to change for millions of years to come....absolutely. Part of the natural cycles of earths ecosystem.

I mention Al because he is the idiot who 1st bought this bs and found an audience of idiots who bought it and propagated it

Good post. He seems to think there are those that only want power and violence to support that. We have probably a dozen or more self-proclaimed socialist (or worse) in the Democratic party. A party he is saying needs supported to defend democracy. Our government is almost entirely greedy, power hungry people. Those on the left want to burn it down. Those on the right want to defend the constitution. Both parties want to keep using the PAC money, making themselves richer and supporting their cause. The cause on the right is supporting democracy. For the left, it is creating chaos and bending the rules in every means they can to burn it down.

Newsflash: Climate change has been occurring since the dawn of time. Oh, and where's that ice age predicted in the 70's again? I want to make sure I buy some extra sweaters before it hits.

So I have some direct involvement in various FISA process. I'll be careful with my words here... The process is fine. It's a court, it's composed of judges who serve concurrently as US District Court judges and who come from R and D Presidents. John Roberts appoints these US district judges concurrent to the FISC.

The court has advisors.... The reason most FISA applications are approved is the crap ones NEVER make it to court. They are pre cleared with the advisor for each judge and if they don't have a chance they never get to the court.

Prior to Congress creating the FISC the Supreme Court had found it Constitutional for the President executing his powers as Commander in Chief to conduct national security surveillance of Americans and foreign persons both domestic and abroad WITHOUT any court at all. This was recognized legal doctrine from 1787 to 1978. Congress and the Carter Administration created the FISC as a self regulatory act... No court required it be created.

In the Carter Page matter (the FISA was on Page not Trump) one FBI attorney lied because exculpatory info provided by CIA would have likely cause the Court to terminate an existing FISA warrant (remember it was a renewal.. not the initial FISA that was the issue at hand). That exculpatory info was that Page had at one point cooperated with CIA. FISA require "probable cause" that a subject of the warrant is an Agent of a Foreign Power. Being a cooperative contact of the CIA generally means you are not an Agent of a Foreign Power absent conclusive info otherwise.

Why have a secret court? Well the example I give is if we had a source next to Putin himself that said a named individual was a spy for Russia we very well would be stupid to compromise that source in order to get a warrant for surveillance operations in open court. Thus the need for FISA.
I understand the need for FISA.

You’re addressing the renewal in your argument. You’re not addressing the violation of the Wood’s procedures in the original issuance of the FISA on page. The reliance on the Isikoff article created a circular Intel logic loop of one piece of Intel confirming an identical piece of Intel which confirmed another piece of Intel which in effect, all turned out to the the same piece of Intel. And, as we now know, was all bullshit. Had they followed Wood’s, they never would’ve granted the first FISA on the third attempt, which would’ve negated the attorney’s actions altogether.

The absolute irony of ding dong’s argument earlier about foreign interference, is that the whole Russian collusion scandal was predicated on Hillary’s camp paying for foreign intelligence (interference) by sourcing from a former British Intel officer, false information.

The former guy, and a scary amount of others, did everything in their power to stay in office even though he lost the election.

For the first time in our history the transfer of power was interrupted by violence.

That man, knowing that he lost, would not have left office if he wasn't forced to. If the entire senior leadership of the DOJ didn't threaten to resign, if Miley would not have made it clear that he would not have the military's support, if Pence wouldn't have done the right thing...Trump would still be president.

You mention the founders. Their entire idea about how to create a government was based on no one person having unlimited power. That was the whole point. No kings allowed.

The former guy talked openly about wanting to stay in power for ever. Hell...he still does. And given the chance you know he would. It's scary how much support he continues to have given these facts.

The founders would be sickened by this guy. He's exactly what they were trying to prevent.

Discounting all this because he's from one's preferred party is very dangerous. Whether you want to admit it or not.

I'd start there.
So someone living in CA, would end up paying roughly 60% of their income in taxes by that measure. I don't agree with this at all however if that's your opinion then we simply have a philosophical difference of opinion. I'm all about a safety net but govt is out of control and my answer would be for public servants to start acting as such and treat the taxpayers hard earned money with care and respect. Both parties are out of control with spending. Tax and spend is not the answer IMO. When 5% of the people account for over 60% of the taxes paid, I'm not sure how the lower 50% can justify complaining as much as they do. The word privilege gets thrown around a lot by the left but true privilege is having your needs and desires taken care of by someone you have no relationship with.

You are using opinion and not fact. That is fine, but don't call anyone else crazy that doesn't agree with your opinion.

There was illegal activity in the election. This is fact. One example is that changes to voting laws MUST be done by the legislative branch in a state. The voting changes were implemented by the PA Supreme Court, not by the state legislature. That is just one example. Over 10M more people voting for Biden than President Obama is over the top no matter how you try to portrait it. He couldn't even win the first few primaries. There were trends in this election (indicators) that have never happened in any election. That is fact. So should it have been investigated? I would think so but it wasn't investigated. Before you state they were investigated, many weren't even looked at. Why?

Joe Biden said "its not who votes, its who counts the votes". That is a quote from Stalin. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. That is fact.

COVID may not have been a conspiracy, but we paid our enemies to research a gain of function virus.

Obama wasn't from Kenya, but did lean socialist and there are writings to support this. This is fact

There was no WMD in Iraq

Russian collusion was done by the Steele Dossier that was paid for by the Clinton and Democratic party and supported by certain people in our intelligent agencies. This is fact.

Joe Bidens son has performed illegal acts domestically and internationally that are being covered up by the MSM. That is fact.

Once again. Opinion, not fact. Meanwhile, Miley speaks with our enemies. His sole job is to support the president with military matters. He has NO say in commanding the military. Remember, this is the guy that wants to talk about CRT and communist books (fact).

He would have left office (opinion) just like your he wouldn't have is opinion.

If you want to get rid of the crazy propaganda and conspiracy theories, then we must separate truth from opinion. You are giving a bunch of opinions.

Facts: the Trump campaign was anxious to work with Russian agents. The email is out there its a proven fact. It had nothing to do with the dossier.

Fact: Manafort worked for years with Russian agents in The Ukraine and at a minimum he gave internal campaign data to Russian agents when he was trumps campaign manager. That had nothing to do with the dossier.

Fact: Carter Paige was suspected of being a Russian mark for years before he joined the Trump campaign. It had nothing to do with the dossier.

Regardless of the dossiers origin the Trump campaign had many many documented contacts with the Russians.

Fact: the president told the world that he trusted Putin more than he trusted our own intelligence community.

Fact: Donald Trump Jr. himself famously said in 2008 that “Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets. We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.”

You guys can act like none of that matters because the dossier came from the political mud pits. But it does matter.

Can you honestly say that if Obama had all those contacts with the Russians during his campaigns you would discount those actions because you didn't like how an investigation was initiated?

Of course you would. And rightfully so.

That is another example of my ultimate point. When you give your party a break you wouldn't give the opposing party your putting the will to gain power over the good of the country.

Wow Angry Airport is fired up!

You have a habit of always bringing up race. Maybe it's just coincidence.

By the way...your girl was "executed" while she tried to enter the chamber that lawmakers were fleeing from. She was a terrorist trying to stop the functioning of our government. You just keep supporting her...you'll go down in history as a real hero.

And why are you so obsessed with anal sex? You must think about that a lot.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Funny how when an unarmed white women is shot by a black police chief she is a terrorist. Is that what you tell yourself so you can go to a blm rally and not hate yourself?

Funny how there were 50 armed officers within 20 yards of her and not one of them even raised a gun but the guy behind a barricade felt threatened and shot her.

Those are some mental gymastics.

Totally agree. He set the example of what leaders of this country needed to do.

They needed to respect the power they had and move it along to the next person when his time was done.

He knew, as many do, that power corrupts. And for our system to thrive we need humble public servants. Not power hungry authoritarians.

1. Democrats are for packing the supreme
Court because they couldn’t win elections when it mattered
2. Democrats want to eliminate the Senate filibuster because they couldn’t win elections when it mattered.
3. Democrats want to have the president to be able to overthrow Joe Manchins vote because……they couldn’t win elections when it mattered.
4. Democrats want to rewrite or eliminate the 1st and 2 nd amendments from the Constitution because they couldn’t win elections when it mattered.

……and in and on it goes. Power for powers sake. 3 coequal branches of government as designed by our founding father?……lol, not to Bernie, Joe, Cackles, Chucky, Nancy, and AOC

Trump's campaign sucked at getting dirt from Russia on the Clintons. Because they have a plethora on them.

Oh come on.

Because I want to have universal Healthcare like every other industrialized country does? Also because it will save us a ton of money.

Because I think the wealthy should pay their fair share of taxes?

Because I'm willing to talk about the truth about our country's history?

You guys work so hard to convince yourselves that the left is evil just to justify the terrible actions of the right.

You end up saying ridiculous things like telling a business owner he wants communist public policy.

Think about how ridiculous it is to say that.

This is what I mean about you living in a fantasy world. You have to convince yourself that good hardworking people with different policy ideas are more terrible than what is actually terrible.

All because of your loyalty to your preferred party.

Again...its not about right vs left. It's about right vs wrong.

You accept your side's wrongs by convincing yourself of untrue things.

The former guy didn't win more votes, there's no evidence that he did or the pillow guy would have proved it.

No one is advocating for the government to take over the means of production. No one wants communism.

Democrats are not Satan worshiping pedophiles.

You convince yourselves that a lifelong moderate politician is now the second coming of Lenin.

But you guys NEED to believe that to justify your worship of a demagogue.

What happened to being the "loyal opposition"?

The rational, fair minded, patriotic opposition.

Rush and Fox and now OAN and Breirbert and Newsmax have made millions ginning up anger and fear in a bunch of naive marks.

Wake up. You're going to start your civil war based on absolutely incorrect and untrue make believe bullshit.
I don't think you are evil. I think you are dumb and one day if you get a job you will understand why.

LOL...

You say that as if they were in a park on a sunny day. The chamber was under attack and that was the LAST BARRIER before they got to their targets.

You are so far out of bounds on this argument it's comical.

I'm sure if it was a BLM riot and the cop was white and the terrorist was black you would still totally defend the terrorist right?

Your so transparently bias there's no point to this conversation.

Income and wealth are not the same thing. As an entrepreneur I'd think you'd be able to understand the difference. You stated earlier that you are a supporter of capitalism yet what you seem to advocate is a redistribution of wealth. The two ideas are not consistent.
