Just bought my last pair of Nikes...

Yeah, if only it were true. Too bad, so sad.

It's down to less than $79 a share. Not sure if this will actually impact stock price in the next month, but the trend over a year may look different.

Don’t know the demographics, but it appears some “guys” are selling Nike stock this morning. New marketing move was nothing short of brilliant.

Oh dear god, the horror. It dipped to where it was in early August. It's at almost 80 and it was at 65 back in the spring. How will they ever survive? Just like the NFL.

LMAO!

Ever walk around a high school or a mall?
Who actually pays for the items they are wearing is my question? I guess we'll see if it works for Nike or not. I don't particularly care for a lot of their items as I prefer UA so it doesn't matter to me.

EDIT: No I don't frequent the local hangouts of teenagers.

Yes......

CINCINNATI - Police were studying mall surveillance video in the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old Ohio boy who authorities say tried to steal a shopper's limited-edition Nike Air-Jordan athletic shoes.
Miami Township police said a man with a concealed weapon permit fired his gun after he and another man were accosted Saturday morning by three teens on a sidewalk outside the Dayton Mall. Police said one teen had showed a gun.

DETROIT -- A Detroit man is charged in the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old boy who was trying to sell a pair of Nike Air Jordan sneakers.

Prosecutors say 19-year-old Dante Ford was arraigned Friday on murder, assault with intent to murder, armed robbery and gun charges.

He's accused of killing Corey Harris-Thomas. The Grosse Pointe Woods teen had arranged to sell a pair of the shoes to Ford. Harris-Thomas and a 24-year-old friend picked up Ford Tuesday afternoon on Detroit's west side.

Prosecutors say Harris-Thomas, his friend and Ford were shot inside the SUV. Harris-Thomas died at the scene. Ford ran away, but was arrested Wednesday.

Ford is also charged with armed robbery after Air Jordan sneakers were taken earlier Tuesday from a 16-year-old boy who had arranged to sell a pair.

Washington D.C.---All James Anthony Smith wanted for Christmas was a pair of bright red Nike Air Jordans. His mother paid $220 for the sneakers and gave her 17-year-old son his gift a bit early.

They went from store box to James's feet without ever passing under the tree at his Southeast Washington home. The Ballou High School sophomore enjoyed them for four days.

On Monday evening, police said a gunman shot James on a basketball court at the Frederick Douglass Community Center. His mother, Benita Smith, said whoever attacked her son took the sneakers. He was found a block away, on a street, shoeless. He died less than two hours later at a hospital.

For whatever reason, Nike decided to light a fuse that is attached to quite a few explosives. Wealthy donors to many organizations including college institutions, non profit organizations, etc, will certainly have a say before the dust settles and the pig socks are worn and washed.

Houston-----A man who crashed a car last week after being shot over a pair of popular sneakers has died.
He was identified as Joshua Wood, 22, and no one has been arrested in his death, authorities said Wednesday.
Wood was shot about 10:30 a.m. Friday in the 1700 block of Plumwood near Hallfield in northwest Harris County.
He was trying to move from the passenger seat of a car to the driver's seat to escape two armed men demanding his new Nike Air Jordan shoes, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
He and another man had bought several pairs of the newly released Air Jordan XI "Bred" sneakers earlier that morning at Willowbrook Mall and then drove home.
As the driver stopped at his house, a green four-door car pulled up in front of him, the sheriff's office said.
An armed man got out of the green car and demanded the newly purchased shoes, which retail for about $185.

Here’s your chance to be correct again. Does Nike stand by their decision????? Quite entertaining when Mr. Country goes on record.

Americans are willing to kill each other for shoes. And while each fatal incident may seem like a freak occurrence, sneaker-motivated deaths can mount over time.
An estimated 1,200 people die over sneakers every year, according to GQ magazine.
Critics have accused Nike, which owns the Jordan brand, of encouraging frenzied behavior over their shoes. The most sought-after Jordans are expensive and released in limited quantities, making them highly sought-after and valuable. In October 2015, former NBA star Stephon Marbury singled out Jordan in association with ”kids dying over shoes,” when he announced the return of his own $15 Starbury sneakers to market.

Just a dumb move by Nike.

It’s not like they’ll gain a single customer and it’s obvious they’re going to alienate countless... ...despite Keaton claiming he knows the purchasing habits of every North American person.

Nike up $6 billion...yeah, with a B.

A person raised by a rich family, who is rich himself, claims to be oppressed...and just signed a huge agreement with Nike...Nike uses cheap labor to make it's goods that it sells for a hefty margin...who is oppressed here?

Why argue with the bubble heads, a red wave is coming. Nike doesn't need the uneducated white demographic, that is the only one Trump owns, lol.
