Been saying this for the past 3 years, and Im saying it again. I do not know why WVU has not deployed more Zone Stretch blocking schemes. The entire scheme is designed to help create lanes for RB's, without requiring brute push-back strength.. Using directional momentum, which can help inexperienced OL create space for an RB to work..
You see it everywhere in the NFL, and in the CFP playoffs... Shanahan's would be a perfect film study, for basic concept, but now there are some cool variations being deployed by Vikings, so its evolved some through the years....
I really hope to see varying blocking schemes this year, instead of counters and traditional schemes.. The more they mix it up, the more ways we can attack with our backfield..
