Dark day to be a Mountaineer.
This situation absolutely sucks and will have long-lasting consequences. We all need to do what we think is right, and those of you who feel you are done; I totally get it.
That said, I plan to continue to support the school, the team and The Blue Lot going forward. Doesn’t mean I like how this played out, but I am not ready to give this up.
Started on this board in the late 90’s and I am an Old Fart now. I personally don’t have it in me to just walk away. Much like a family member who screws the pooch, you are initially livid, but eventually make bygones and push forward. That said, I totally get why this is not possible for some; it is a very big deal.
Lastly, an odd thought crossed my mind this morning. WWPBD; What Would PeaBody Do. What I would give for a drug-infused, hooker laden diatribe from that beautiful bastard right now. Made me chuckle, dust off, and resolve to carry on. Oh yeah, PITT STILL SUCKS.
