Pathetic attempt to start sh/t.
....but not surprising considering the OP.
Still, he was a terrible defensive coordinator
Where do you come up with this craziness?Holgorsen had a hard time finding anyone willing to even take on that challenge.
Do the 'best in the business' typically take huge cuts in their salary ?
there's no maybe..it was an embarrassment..Maybe so, but he was left was a bare cupboard. Joining a power conference without the appropriate players would have challenged any assistant coach in the country. Holgorsen had a hard time finding anyone willing to even take on that challenge.
WVU is lucky to have Joe DeForest and it is only because of his friendship with Holgorsen that he hasn't moved on to greener pastures.

Put it this way wbgvwbgv....I bought that same shirt pictured last wknd. ....I'm really hopeful nobody confuses me with him this fall....that would be bad....:angry:You can ask Holgorsen who continues to say DeForest is "the best in the business". He manages the salaries that assistant coaches receive. Sometimes they get more and sometimes they get less. DeForest has been well compensated for his time at West Virginia.
DeForest is responsible for WVU's great kicking game this year and it is hard to dispute that fact. He recruited the players, developed them, and now WVU has one of the best kicking games in the Big 12.

It is a pretty comfortable good looking shirt if I do say so EEReverent...washed up nice too....V?Does @Vernon have it in stock? I'd like to get one...but I am 2 lazy 2 look
Is that why prior to signing a short term contract (with a sizable pay cut I might add) he was given the chance to look around for a more long term contract offer. After no one offered him, he re-signed here.

Welcome back Hank. How many different names do you go by these days (hopefully Sybil isn't one of them)? What part of "best in the business" don't you understand. Without Joe, Lambert and O'Toole wouldn't even be here.
And let's blame all of our defensive problems on a first year coordinator rather the two men who allowed the roster to be depleted (Casteel and Stewart). That "embarrassment" was years in the making.

I see you still have trouble with reading comprehension and responding to the actual topic in the post you are quoting. Let me makes this as clear as I can for you so you can quote my post and say absolutely nothing related to it.
You don't sign "the best in the business" to a short term contract.
You don't give "the best in the business" a huge pay cut along on your short term deal.
You don't give "the best in the business" the chance to find a better deal somewhere else.
If DH actually believed he was "the best in the business" he would have extended his deal for multiple years immediately...
Well well well - Get lonely over there on HerdNation. LOL! This board likely doesn't have anyone with the experience and skill set to be a football graduate assistant let alone a college football head coach. When Dana Holgorsen and Mike Gundy say the DeForest is the best then it probably is true.
And if that wasn't enough, objectively looking at what DeForest has done with the kicking games at OSU and WVU proves both head coaches right. He knows how to recruit them, develop them, and send them on to the NFL.
Assistant coaching jobs are always in flux - more compensation, less compensation, more responsibility, less responsibility - doesn't really mean anything. Go by what the head coach says "best in the business" and just be thankful that DeForest works for Holgorsen.
Can you quit quoting my responses if you are not going to respond to them and instead continue with the same old drivel?
Lastly the Hank comments are getting old and have never been funny... so just quit. My 10 year old accounts on this site and scout are obviously not aliases for someone else...
Don't worry Hank, your secret is safe with me. It's just that there haven't been a lot of Raese brothers' ass kissers who sophomorically refer to Oliver Luck's jock strap and follow me around. I couldn't help but notice the similarities.

Hank hasnt read the board in months. You are the crazy mfer talking to ghosts and defending the worst coach in morgantown since greg van zant. Take your meds and go back to sleepLOL. Hank and you together have over 300,000 postings and more under your other names. That is a lot of dumbing down of the Rivals' boards. Is it getting lonely over on Herdnation? As usual, when one shows up the other is not far behind.

Why did you follow hank to herdnation if you wanted him banned here? He isnt posting here. Who is obsessed? Now go defend the best coach to ever get a payçut.I bet you and Hank have over 500,000 postings (including all the aliases), and sadly they are all just like your last one. I see where the Marshall fans are even getting tired of your postings over on Herdnation. Surely by now they have deduced that you guys have never seen the inside of a WVU classroom.
