You better hope Texas never comes back because right now that is the only reason people question the Big 12.

Its like people forget how good Texas is because they have been down a few years. Forgot they won a National Championship with Vince Young. Forgot they could have won another over Alabama if McCoy didn't get hurt.

The rest of the conference can't sit back and rest its laurels on the idea that Texas football is going to be back--or that its going to overtake schools like Baylor, TCU, OK State, OU, etc. anytime soon. It benefits the conference if UT is where it occasionally gets to, but the conference has nine other schools that must take care of their own business, not worry about UT's.
