WVU should get off to a rousing start in 2017. Virginia Tech is the only opponent with a winning record among the first six opponents. Come to think of it, WVU got off to a 6-0 start in 2016. And finished 2nd in the Big 12, its highest finish in that conference ever.

At the back end, the Mountaineers will be playing three of their toughest Big 12 opponents in the final five games.
