The 3 finalists appear to be:
1. Roger Hanshaw - WV GOP House Speaker - BS and JD from WVU. PHD from Notre Dame.
2. Michael Benson - Current Coastal Carolina Prez. Ex-Southern Utah Prez and ex-Snow College Prez. Played basketball at both BYU and Oxford. Master's degrees from John Hopkins and Notre Dame. Doctorate from Oxford.
3. Javier Reyes - current UMass Chancellor and ex-WVU Business School Dean
MY guess is there won't be much uproar if either of the last 2 guys get the job. IF they are both passed up in order to hire a political operative, there is going to be a TONNNNNNNN of complaining from WVU alumni and fans.
Interestingly there are no females or minorities among the group. Well, I guess Reyes might count as a minority. Not sure about that one.......
