BYU was more physical and played with more mental toughness.
They are a more mature and seasoned team than we are and it showed up, particularly at crunch time.
I don’t know how anyone can get down on this team or any of the individual players. They are giving it all they have. We are young and largely outmanned.
Tonight was an entertaining game and I’m pissed we lost. I fear it may end up costing us a shot at the tourney. Needed this one - no doubt about it.
But I know that this is year one and we have already far exceeded most everyone’s expectations.
Maybe we can steal one we don’t see right now. Head up chaps - the future is bright.
