WVU upgraded pre-existing field boxes by adding LED flat-screen televisions, overhead heaters, a glass wrap for privacy and protection from weather, chair back padded seats and food and beverage service.
“Some people are going to say they don’t need a TV and they just want to watch the game, but we’re not going to sit back until the day you no longer get season tickets and then upgrade our facilities,” said Borman, a senior associate athletic director who’s been at WVU since 2008.
“We need to make sure we continue to improve our inventory, and hopefully individuals see what we’re trying to do and they want to be a part of it.”
