Newly-announced All-American CB Beanie Bishop is up first.

-- It's a big accomplishment to him to be an All-American and it's just the "elite of the elite guys." He also says its a big accomplishment for the school as well. He says you don't have to be a "social media guy" to be recognized and you can put your head down and work. He says that he was under recruited and started at a small school and worked hard to get here. He says he wants to win first, because if you win accolades will come.

-- He says him being a consensus All-American speaks volumes to everyone that supported him along the way and the coaches that believed in him. He says he still has time to grow and will continue to put his head down and work hard. Beanie says DL Dante Stills is doing a great job in the NFL after going to the Shrine Bowl, so taking a Shrine Bowl invite can only increase his chances of getting drafted by getting looked at and talked to coaches and scouts at the next level.

-- He said he came to WVU on a mission. Some guys leave school to get money but he set a goal that he wanted to go to the NFL, come play and make some plays to grow. He's glad he chose West Virginia and he's glad for the coaches that supported him. He does somewhat regret not transferring to WVU two years ago instead of Minnesota and what could have been if he played two seasons at WVU.

-- Bishop is aware of the freshman starting at quarterback for UNC in the bowl game so they might change the game plan to cater to his skills, and he says they have some skilled wide receivers and tight ends as well. He says it's going to be a good game. You want to have fun at the bowl game but you need to win the game. You have fun when you can have fun, but you want to get the game. He's looking forward to Neal Brown being doused in mayonnaise.

-- Bishop says he will be playing in the bowl game since it means something to him if he can come back and see the trophy or help them win the game whenever he has those memories. He says as long as he's healthy he wants to play football and he didn't mind playing a lot of snaps this season. He came to WVU because he wanted to play so he got that opportunity.

-- Beanie says he's most proud of the team, especially after being picked last in the preseason. He says they could have been a 10-win team if they take care of business at Houston and had some mistakes against Oklahoma State. He loved how they complimented each other and came together to play as a cohesive unit.
