MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (Feb. 21, 2025) – The West Virginia University baseball team hits the road for the second straight weekend to battle Lipscomb at Ken Dugan Field in Nashville. The series gets started on Saturday, Feb. 22, at 2 p.m. ET, followed by a doubleheader on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET, and a single game on Monday set for 12 p.m. ET.

The Mountaineers are 3-0 on the season after earning a road sweep at Jacksonville to begin the year. West Virginia opened the season with a 4-2 victory before taking both games of a doubleheader by scores of 10-3 and 3-2.
Junior Skylar King paced the Mountaineer offense with six hits, including a home run and a triple, while collecting five RBI. Senior Brodie Kresser added five hits while junior Logan Sauve racked up four hits.
West Virginia will go with the same rotation against the Bisons as the opening weekend with senior Griffin Kirn pitching the opener followed by juniors Robby Porco and Gavin Van Kempen. Monday’s starter is still to be determined.
