MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (March 17, 2025) – The West Virginia University baseball team returns to Kendrick Family Ballpark for two games against James Madison on Tuesday and Wednesday. First pitch for both games is set for 6:30 p.m.

West Virginia is currently 16-1 on the season after winning their Big 12 opener against Oklahoma State, 8-6, on Sunday. It was the only game of the weekend as the series was affected by the Stillwater wildfires.
Sophomore Chase Meyer was named the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week after going 2-0 and tossing 5.2 hitless innings in two outings while striking out 12, including nine at Oklahoma State. He was part of a staff that struck out 19 Cowboys, the most punchouts in one game by WVU since 1965.
Junior Skylar King leads the Mountaineers with a .412 batting average while senior Jace Rinehart and sophomore Spencer Barnett each have a team-high three home runs. Junior Sam White currently has a 13-game hitting streak and is hitting .397 on the season with 19 RBI to lead the team.
