than ever during the transition phase of the Big 12 demise. Calls to "build the program the right way" or "trust the climb" aren't reflective of the urgency to win now to position WVU as desirable. Fifth...sixth...or seventh place finishes just won't cut it.

Winning won’t matter

If you want to help WVU. Have people move to the state.
Need to double the population.

Tell the illegals you won’t deport them and they will show up😂

They should have seen this coming when they first joined the Big 12. Too late to emphasize winning now as we seemed more than content to just collect a fat paycheck.

Actually was thinking everyone in Texas stay there and the lone star state can secede from the union.
WV had the highest population decline this past decade according to percentages.
They say it could stabilize this decade.
But people view the market as something going downhill.
Major issue for WVU.

Another issue that WV can fix at the state level is broadband internet access
Some parts of the state don’t even have the ability to stream.

Low population plus low broadband internet access it turns ESPN off

That would help quite a bit, but you'll never be able to get beyond the stereotyping of WV, and that's the big issue that holier than thou schools like UVA, Duke, Wake, and others have against WV (and WVU by default).

ESPN running things. They don’t care about that
They let Louisville in.
Louisville is trashy.

Yes, but Louisville is Woke. Always has been.

WV is far from woke, and woke ACC schools don't like a state that's smart enough to put out 70% votes for Trump. Conservative Fox will take care of WVU.

They don’t care about politics. They care about the bottom line

I know what they care about. Bottom line, WVU can't help the bottom line. ACC needs to shed some dead weight, and bring in heavy weights, if they want to compete long term. WVU is fine from a competitive standpoint, but small state in stature, plus I maintain the ACC major hitters look down on WV as a whole. Always have, always will. Goes back to 1863, and even a couple decades before then. WVU should not allow Woke Center to dictate to them as to where they go. They may have to, but they shouldn't. Hopefully Fox will rescue them.

TVZ hates the state of West Virginia yet spends 24/7 on one of it's message boards with multiple profiles.

We can live in delusional land…
Or you can face the issues and fix them

Saying WV as a state has one of the lowest populations in the country percentage wise who have access to broadband internet isn’t hating on anyone
It is the truth

Should get on your politicians
Access to high speed internet in rural areas is a big deal.
All states have these issues but not all states have the rural population that WV does.

People need the ability to stream games

Shelly Moore Capito announced not too long ago that a huge amount of money is being dedicated to broadband service in rural West Virginia. If you weren't a troll/fake Texas fan, then you'd know that this won't be a problem for long.

Politicians say a lot of things but never fulfill their promise

The money has been DEDICATED, dipsh!t. The Feds have earmarked big bucks for this very purpose. You continue to be my...

A lot of hands in the pot. Usually it goes to the most powerful members of Congress and goes down the line.

Broken system. Especially when you are talking about money earmarked by Congress. Usually starts with members of the appropriation committees

I'll crush you with facts, as usual:

"Thanks to federal coronavirus relief, the state now has over $200 million earmarked for broadband expansion. That doesn’t count the additional billions that federal agencies and local governments could potentially spend to address the state’s broadband issues in coming years."

"Now, West Virginia officials find themselves in an unfamiliar place when it comes to broadband: awash in cash, leaving legislators and other state officials scrambling to figure out how to spend it. "
