Well looks like marginal success recently and leaving a collapsing lower tier conference, so yeah, I wouldn't put it past our administration.
The press should demand a conference with Stimpy. That press conference should involve one question.
“Are you guys considering hiring this dude from UNLV?”
If he says “ yes” he needs fired on the spot. I don’t mean the next day or later that night. I mean in that exact moment he needs terminated.
I would literally have HR attend the press conference and do a “performance review“ directly in front of him

Yeah I dont think this hire would go over well with the fanbase. Another small school coach and he was only .500 at Mizzou. Chances are he's a slight upgrade but not much. Apparently he worked with Wren and a blogger saw that and ran with it. I hope its not true!!
He did roll Neal like a 6 year old in 2019 (38-7). So he is better than Neal. But no way the collective knows what they're talking about.

There's not ONE Athletic Director that would comment on a coaching situation when they currently have a coach under contract and the potential candidate is under contract with another school.

I agree with this. Honestly I didn't know much about the guy until I saw that post. Apparently the collective has been right in the past about something. But I think they just saw the connection between Baker and this guy and ran with it. Bring in Jimbo!
