WVU still faces a tough task to get to the postseason, but today may have solidified and reinforced the notion that something is being built here. While I would not call a win over the #24 team on the road monumental and earth-shattering, it certainly resonates for a couple reasons:

(1) OU struggling tonight or not, this was the same KSU team that defeated a Sooner team that looked like a solid bet for the BCS playoff. WVU actually did something Oklahoma could not (for once) and did it with a roster that is thin, untalented in spots, and young in a lot of other areas.

(2) It showed WVU bounce back immediately with likely its best game this year after it's worst game of the year last week. That takes a LOT of character and moxy ... and from such a young team.

If WVU can get to 6-6 or 5-7 with arguably our worst roster talent-wise since the 1985 or 1990 units, then things will definitely be looking up ... because this roster IS going to get better, deeper, and more seeded in schematically. This is most likely our lowest point in the upcoming Neal Brown era and if we can threaten bowl eligibility, that would be quite something, imo.

Great week, imo.
