From an execution standpoint, why do other teams make it look so easy? Iowa State wasn’t running trick plays or gimmicks. They lined up and ran the ball, mostly to the left side, right through us. Then, they threw the ball with ease wherever they wanted. The receivers weren’t running complex routes, but the ball was there when it needed to be and of course none of our defenders were nearby.
It just seems like we have to struggle to earn every inch and our opponents make it look easy.
