Who is the greatest basketball player you've watched vs WVU?

I was always a big Calhoun fan, and I really liked some of those UCONN teams, particularly that 99 team with Hamilton and Khalid El Amin. They were so fun to watch.

I remember they kicked WVU's ass that year by about 40 points, and I believe the game was in Morgantown.

Me too definitely a Calhoun fan. Khalid El Amin, good memory, he was an awesome PG.

That '99 team beat Duke in the title game. I won my pool that year picking UConn all the way.

I was at UConn's 2011 Sweet 16 & Elite 8 wins in Anaheim en route to another championship. Kemba Walker just too much. Proved again that elite guards win championships.

They won I think 11 in a row to close out that season beginning with the Big East tournament title. & that was the Big East at its very best -- all-time record 11 teams made the NCAAs.

I was at Wvu from 1985-1993 and we played against many Future NBA guys but I always felt the best was Len Bias but they guy who killed us was Hersey Hawkins at Bradley.

Len Bias. Lester Rowe always played him even. It was fun to watch

I was going to say Len Bias, but the reality was he never had a great game against WVU. I think his last time at the Coliseum he was held to like 12 or 14 points; '84 maybe? Still a good number, but not his typical numbers.

For everyone on here, who was the greatest player you watched live against WVU?

For me, it was Russell Westbrook. Didn't have a good game as WVU upset #2 UCLA. But now he's a Beast, a triple double machine, and I love it as a Thunder fan.
