Ever hear of Geno Smith, Jake Kelchner, Darren Studstill? Major Harris pro set offense.
Each of those qb's had mobility but outside of Geno none had the major bowl wins that put the exclamation point on the season.
White is the only QB in the history of the NCAA to QB his team to 4 bowl victories.
Every Wvu team that has won 10 games in recent history had mobility at the qb position you can't deny that. Wvu needs that element in its offense. We are not going to win being conventional especially in the age of the transfer portal and Nil. We don't get enough NFL talent to be conventional. Its easier for D coordinators in collage to scheme against a pocket passer than it is a mobile qb. Wvu had its most consistent success when it had a variation of the spread option. It allows team with lesser talent to punch above its weight class. It worked at wvu and can again with the right coach and system. The only revisionist history are the ones who can't see that when wvu had a mobile qb it made a difference.

Currently is the head coach of Firenze Guelfi of the Italian League. This is his second tour of Italy as he was HC for Firenze Guelfi. First time around he made the championship game and lost. His second tour in 2022 Firenze Guelfi won the Italian football championship.

I'd take this guy over those other jokers. He's got a solid track record of turning around programs. He's not built for the long haul and we don't need that. Three year contract and done.
Not a very good track record of turning around a motor cycle though.
