I’d like to get one win to secure 20 on the season which is universally a benchmark, and a good feather in the cap for the coach and the program, and then rest up for the dance.

I'd like one more shot at Houston with nothing to lose.
While I think we're in, I think one more win takes away a lot of anxiety. I just don't trust this mentality of SEC and Big 10 get all the perks. I just have a feeling that if it comes down to us or someone from those conferences, we lose out. I think it is really hard to ignore a 20 win team from what I think is the second best conference even though the networks may push SEC and Big 10.

I work with a Hoo fan who graduated from vpi. He lives and dies every Hoo game LOL!!! For us to make it and he doesn’t already is a decisive win. This guy SUCKS like every hokie

I would care because we lost to a team clearly inferior to us and after yesterday's 2nd half, would want a solid showing.
Besides, we win, we likely lose to Houston and then it is a week off minimum before NCAA play (8 days if we are Fri - Sun pod)
We need one more to be sure, already see ESPN pimping OU despite their sh!t conference record. They and a few others like that make a run in their conference tourneys and we're out if we are one and done.
Let’s win as many as we can in the conference tourney. Hell even if we made it to the conference title game we’d still have at least five, maybe six days till our first NCAA game. Rest is for losers. Just win baby!

Hard to see anybody other than SMC/Gonzaga in WCC now with Williams suspended for SFO.

Agree. WE We will be playing either COLORADO OR TCU. WE CAN AND HAVE BEATEN BOTH. Based on whether the refs blow or swallow their whistles we should be in great shape to win the first game.

This is what I don't trust. I even heard people saying if UNC beat Duke yesterday, they deserved to be in the field. They have one Quad 1 win. Its bad enough them shilling for an awful ACC team, but even worse when they are throwing around teams that are 6-12 in conference play.

I don’t get the NET. UNC is 1-11 in Quad 1. We’re 6-10. UNC is ranked #40 and we’re #47. WTF

I agree 100%. Until our name is called I’ll be worried. Let’s win as many as we can this week and then hope it’s enough.
