After the radio show fiasco. Huggs was very likely drunk. Stimpy needed to focus less on weaseling Huggs out of his pay and more on getting him the real help he needed. Suspend him with pay for a couple of months and get inpatient treatment. Everyone wins.

Huggs gets the help he needs and WVU gets to keep a great coach and a great incoming class.


What did Stimpy do? Not a damn thing. He likely didn’t even meet with Huggs without his daddy Gee holding his damn hand.

WVU looks stupid and I love it. Huggs is willing to let Rome burn and if this finally clears out all the idiots that have run WVU into the grouno, then so f#$king be it.

Since this post:

1) Stimpy extended the worst WVU football coach of my lifetime after finally having a 9 win season with an incredibly weak schedule. This extension gives Kneel Brown every bit as much financial leverage as he had coming into the season, while also giving him a MUCH easier path out of his contract after this season if someone is stupid enough to hire him away from us.

2) WVU Basketball…where do I begin. Again, per my original post, WVU could’ve done right by Huggs and put him an inpatient alcohol addiction treatment immediately. Literally the longest you can put someone in inpatient rehab is 90 days. Instead of firing him, they could’ve suspended him without pay and reevaluate the situation in 90 days. THEY ENDED UP USING AN INTERIM COACH, ANYHOW! Huggins was not making final four runs anymore, but holy shit, it was way better than this garbage.

By the way, Bob Huggins has not drank since that incident. Ouch.
