Fast Eddie handed Stewart the keys at 3am after the Oklahoma win in the Fiesta Bowl. Stewart had Pat White, Steve Slaton, and Noel Devine. That team went south right out of the gate with the opening game loss in Charlotte against ECU. Then the Colorado game where ESPN described "mass confusion on the West Virginia sideline." Holgs took over a great team when Stewart was fired. The only problem was that Stewart left many scholarships open. Holgs problem was he was never a recruiter especially at developing a quarterback. Brown took over a team whose cupboard was bare. Year three is when the rubber meets the road. We will see whether "Trust the Climb" was pure BS or a great idea.

If you knew anything about FB and looked beyond the end of your nose at the WVU program when Holgs left you would realize the truth.
WVUAllen nailed it. The Offense was a COMPLETE REBUILD. The D had little behind the 5 returning starters. Holorsen left this program in shambles. There was nothing in the 2 deep in any room. CFE and Rootmaster need to study FB a little closer.
