What does "we'll be fine by tournament time" mean? Have

...ummm ... ...was that a lie ?

pretty much everything keaton posted...

- lamb played small forward for uconn, as listed in the uconn roster, and that evening against wvu

- lamb is in the nba... i think the rest of the front court are pros in europe.

- flowers shut lamb down and had a very good offensive night (for flowers)... posting lamb up and either scoring or getting the assist when he touched the ball. it was a dominate one-on-one performance.

how do i remember all this? i was there

what's weird is not that keaton lied; he does that. what's weird is keaton went back and edited several of this posts a signiifcant amount of time after the thread was pretty much done. i feel bad for him now, and i am sorry.

wikipedia.. LOL LOL LOL

another question for you...

why can't you stop when it's over? it's sad.
Why lol at Wikipedia? Its not a rock star who is a recluse its a basketball player. I get what you're saying if we are talking about Phil Anselmo's Heroin lifestyle but its a basketball players information. Its common knowledge.

Kemba Walker? Napier was the backup PG on that team and played alongside Kemba Walker.

OK, but I don't remember Lamb playing Forward much. He was a skinny Guard, and totally lethal. I believe Lamb played a ton as a Freshman, and I think it was mostly at SG. Paper says he's listed as a F, but everything I see says G/F...but I'm not involved in the paper/Keaton debate - I'm just talking from actual memory.

Flowers matching up on Lamb sounds right...he took those assignments.

I guess Lamb could slide into a Small Forward role - always seemed to be a natural 2, to me - and got drafted as one....but that's a pissing match for now.

Lamb was ice cold and always hit big shots. I do remember him as a Freshman making plays for that team in the tourney.

Then came Boatright....UConn always had pesky Guards...the kind Huggins likes.

So we lost on the road to a NCAA tournament quality team that shot the lights out & got us in foul trouble all game.

We have a team with flaws that doesn't always play its A game & doesn't win every game. That's the case for everybody.

Have some faith. We won't win every night, but we've already won a bunch & we'll scratch out some more enjoyable Ws.

We're nationally relevant and bound for March Madness. I'll take that any year.

I don't know if this team will be "fine" or not come postseason. But it very well could be. February, imo, is going to be brutal. Come out of February with your head up high, have an on court leader or two emerge, and completely buy in one more time and this team, with the right match-ups, could have a nice little post-season run.

The B12 tourney could be tougher than the first 2-3 games of the NCAA tourney.[/QUOTE]

This is the most accurate post in this thread. 7 out of 10 SEC schools would agree with you, too.

When we lose our next three....i wonder what people will be saying about WVU.

have not posted on this board in along time and i come back and i see your just as negative as before with Huggs.. Guess a top 10 team, number 2 seed in the big 12 and today a chance to play Kansas for the title and what looks like will be a number 2 seed in the NCAA.

And by the way, wvu never lost 3 in a row all year.. sorry to upset ya.. The word Positive is a wonderful thing, try it out sometime.. It used to exist with you long ago..

These are great times for WVU basketball, ones we need to remember forever..
