The solution is pretty straightforward...

Everyone has a right to protest. That's in the first amendment.

But there are limitations. Among them is one called "Time, Place, and Manner".

Attending a college is a privilege. A student doesn't "own" the school they attend. They can attend that school only as long as the school extends the privilege to them. The school can determine the time, place, and manner for the protest since the school owns the facilities.

As such, if the school deems these protests disrupts the school and their mission, makes the safety of the students attending there risky, etc. then the school has the right, and can be argued the obligation, to expel the protestors.

That will make those "student protesters" determine if the cause they are protesting is really worth getting expelled over? For this self-serving generation? It's over like yesterday...

Now, for the non-student agitators and actors who show up to stir the pot, they should be arrested and charged with every offense possible - trespassing, resisting, disturbing the peace, unlawful assembly, assault, battery, etc. None of those charges are likely more than a simple misdemeanor and fine but added up could be extremely costly.
