39 of the 99 players on WVU's 2017 roster are from WV. 9 of Marshall's 99. Yup, we're WV's team.

The state just doesn't produce many D-1 players but has in the last couple of years but they eschew both MU and WVU it seems like!Y'all are brilliant. How many of WVU's best football players in the past 30 years have been West Virginia natives? Major Harris? Pat White? Steve Slaton? Chris Henry? Bruce Irvin? Geno Smith? Steadman Bailey? Tavon Austin? Karl Joseph? You're anything, but West Virginia's team, morons.
Working on it. The offense, from all indication, is gelling pretty nicely right now. That won't be an issue. We have the best QB of the Holgorsen era, a three headed running back beast, two of the best OTs we've had in a long time, nice receivers. My concern in this particular game is how our young DL matches up with their young OL. If we can make their RS freshman QB have to throw it more than he's comfortable with, WVU should fair well. If they are able to keep Grier and Co. off the field and kill clock with the running game, it'll be tough. Neither team knows what they have until the lights kick on.Beat VPI!
According to ESPN they had 9..... Double checked with Herdzone.com and they had 12. Either way, WVU has at least 3x to 4x more WV representationWe've always been the team that represents our state. That's just the way it is, and the way it will always be, but I'm thinking MU has more like 16 WV kids on their roster rather than 9. Still, with that being said, why would any kid that has an offer from both not choose to play for the premier team in the state, that being WVU ?
True...much different game when they turn the scoreboard on! I'd play WVU but +2 1/2 ain't much help in game that IMHO could go either way! But I hope it goes the Mountie's way!Working on it. Ummmmm, I'm investing a dollar with a maximum possible return of 50 cents! Let me discuss it with my pals who hold MBA's from WVU ( not progeny of the Governor). I'll get back to you!Tell you what Tony. Since you seem to be a betting man, I've got a proposition for you. Instead of placing bets this year just send me every dollar you planned on betting on football. After the bowl season I will send half your money back to you and keep the other half for myself..........we will both be money ahead. Vegas wasn't built on people outsmarting the oddsmakers but there is a 100% chance that my deal is better than letting the bookies hold your money. Deal ?

I suspect by kick the line will be -1 to pick now that VT has announced their starting redshirt freshman QB who has yet to throw a pass in a collegiate gameTrue...much different game when they turn the scoreboard on! That's a better return than you're going to get betting against the point spread.
I'm amazed at the old women who play the slots at our casinos. It's common knowledge that the machines are programmed to pay out 35% of what they take in, the state takes 35%, and whoever owns the machines get the other 30. So it only stands to reason that on average if you spend $100 it's likely that your best return is going to be $35, and the more they play the more likely that is going to be the case.......but those casinos are packed with people throwing their money away thinking they are going to strike it rich.
I think people that think they are going to outsmart those who set point spreads on football games suffer from the same false hopes.
I've offered you a better deal.......
I'm ready!I suspect by kick the line will be -1 to pick now that VT has announced their starting redshirt freshman QB who has yet to throw a pass in a collegiate game
One of the most stupid posts I've seen. Shows how little you know. Thanks.Y'all are brilliant. How many of WVU's best football players in the past 30 years have been West Virginia natives? You're the dumbest poster on here, so I wouldn't expect you to understand a factually correct post. Is your skull filled with cement, or merely asphalt? One of the most stupid posts I've seen. Shows how little you know. Thanks.
Well, based on your criteria, I would have to say the Fayetteville High Pirates are WV's team, as they can proudly state 100% of their players are from WV. Not to mention, they have more than 39 players on the team.WVU has over 1/3 of its team run out on the field who are from West Virginia. 39 WV families, relatives, and friends in the stands rooting for their home town kid's team. Yet, you say it's not WV's team. Care to tell me, cogently, which team in WV is?
I'd bet Michigan doesn't have many more than 39 of its 99 from Michigan. And, if you take it per capita, WVU's percentage would blow Michigan's out of the water.Well, based on your criteria, I would have to say the Fayetteville High Pirates are WV's team, as they can proudly state 100% of their players are from WV. BTW, your OP was about as lame as they come. Bragging about having 39 kids on a D1 squad from WV? No wonder you boys suck.
I'm sure you're right, and thankfully so, as Michigan recruits top talent nationally, and doesn't settle for 2 star rated in-state recruits. Congrats, I guess.I'd bet Michigan doesn't have many more than 39 of its 99 from Michigan. And, if you take it per capita, WVU's percentage would blow Michigan's out of the water.
