They had a chance to make a statement and didn’t get it in there. The second one was when they got the fourth down stop and missed a third down. The third was the snap. You have to score touchdowns to win these type of games. You want to minimize possessions but when you get in the red zone you have to score touchdowns.
—Defensively they played really, really well for three quarters. West Virginia was really good on third down but they got tired late. They wore down a little bit at the end and have to rotate more. They got tired at linebacker and on the defensive line. They’ve got to take the next step to win those games.

The QB that started last year will start again and did a good job extending plays in that game. Their wide receiver No. 13 is very good and he’s as good as anybody they’ve played. Defensively they’ve been very good. They are strong up front and drop eight a bunch and are a three man front. They get to man on third down and they’re glad to be home.
