--West Virginia head coach Bob Huggins said his team wants to continue to play. The situation without a few more wins is pretty dire, but he’s glad they’re happy.

--Huggins said getting Taz Sherman back was a huge shot in the arm for everybody. They didn’t do a lot with his cardio which was a concern. Thought he gave it a lot and was smart enough to say when he needed out. If they can get his cardio back to where it was they should be alright.

--Huggins said of all people he’s not going to take a tip from Roy Williams. He said they were paired as co-coaches at the Michael Jordan fantasy camp and Huggins said he can’t recruit the ones that he will get, and you don’t want the ones that he recruits so they’ll get along. And they have. Williams wanted to always experience a game in the Coliseum because he had heard so many people talk about it. He called Huggins this morning.

--He was happy with them until they let Iowa State make that run. They got the OK from the doctors on Sherman and wanted to be careful with him.

--Seth Wilson played great in the first half but he got him out because he took an early shot.

--Lost so many 50-50 balls and they were reaching for them and other teams were diving for them.

--Huggins thought they matched up better with Iowa State after practice when it comes to the lineup changes. The guys that they thought handled that better were the guys they wanted to start. It depends on matchups.

--Medical people were really concerned about Sherman’s cardio.

--Huggins said he wished he shared the exuberance of Taz Sherman about this team getting ready to shock the world but they've got two hard games coming up.
